ABSTRACT

1% water solution extract Fucus reduced inflammation emerged in cases of chronic parodontal disease. This was confirmed by positive dynamics of subjective and objective clinical symptoms, reduction of parodontal and hygienic indexes, improvement of parodontal microcirculation.

ABSTRACT

Clinical application of seaweed's preparations has shown the appreciable preventive effect, which is connected, first of all, with structure of a water solution of a laminaria's mineral concentrate. This perspective direction contains the following ways of perfection of primary prevention of dental caries: improvement of salivary glands function, optimization of saturation of oral liquid by mineral components, amplification of autopurification of oral cavity, increase of dental tissue's resistance. Application of a fususe's water solution extract improves clinical condition of paradontium, reduces quantity of pathogenic microorganisms that testifies to high anti-inflammatory efficiency of an extract.

ABSTRACT

Students of the Arkhangelsk State Medical Academy living in this area from the birth date and those from other climatic zones were examined. The metabolic status indices were defined content of low and middle molecular mass substances in blood and mixed saliva. There were certain features of biological fluidin spectrograms of caries susceptible persons. It was found that caries susceptibility of teeth depends on middle molecular substances pool in biological fluids.

ABSTRACT

Analysis of the principal odontological and odontogliphic parameters of 1088 molars of caries-susceptible and caries-resistant Russian and Nenets children has demonstrated that molar caries-resistance of the Nenets children is explained by the prevalence of the basic and supplementary grooves and elements that create a more intricate fissure pattern, the tooth size, groove length, number of tubers and fossae at the site of fissure fusion.
