ABSTRACT

Recently great attention has been paid to the rejuvenation of the face, neck, and décolleté of women with advanced radial fractional radiofrequency. We aimed to clinically evaluate the results obtained with this treatment method. We treated 10 women aged 42 to 62, suffering from skin aging. After carrying out the hydration and sebometry skin tests in each patient, collecting the medical history and taking photographs of the face and décolleté in the standard projections, a questionnaire was submitted to each patient. Finally, we have submitted the patients to one session of application of radiofrequency energy, by an Italian device named "Thuzzle" (GMV, Rome, Italy). The obtained results show a high effectiveness in improving the texture and tone of skin, decreasing micro wrinkles and spot reduction. Advanced radial fractional radiofrequency treatment method shows promising results. Further studies are required to confirm the findings.

ABSTRACT

The eyes are an important component of facial aesthetics. They are in the center of an anatomical area of the face very important for rejuvenation procedures, the so-called "periorbital region." The appearance of the eyes therefore decisively influences the perception of the aesthetics and aging of the entire face. In juvenile age, the skin of the periocular area is elastic and tonic, without sun damage; the eyebrow is full, well defined, and not descending; there is a clear and visible fold of the upper eyelid, with minimal dermatochalasis; the lower eyelid is tense and well positioned. The aim of this preliminary study is to define a protocol for the use of plasma technology in the treatment of aging signs of the periorbital region. The protocol is aimed to provide predictable, constant, and safe results.

ABSTRACT

Vulvovaginal atrophy is a condition that affects women, although it is mainly associated with the onset of menopause mainly due to hormonal changes vulvovaginal laxity and mucosal atrophy can also affect women at different life stages such as after pregnancy or for cancer patients who have undergone chemo or endocrine therapy. This condition negatively influence quality of life, sexual desire, and self-confidence. Many therapies have been considered mainly with inconclusive or transient results in terms of benefit factor. Recently, a new non-invasive product, containing hyaluronic acid, oligopeptides, and antioxidants was introduced to the market. Its name is "Primavera," by Renaissance, Italy. The aim of this product is to allow a vulvo-vaginal biostimulation and considered simple, safe, and satisfactory.
