ABSTRACT

It is set research, that for the last five years (2006 for 2011) the level of general morbidity among the contingent of establishments of implementation of punishments went down concerning all illnesses on 14%, and primary--on 25%. At the same time, prevalence of illnesses of blood among the contingent of establishments of implementation of punishments for the same period grew on 64%, psychical illnesses on 10%, and nervous--on 19%. Primary morbidity on illness of blood grew on 83%, and concerning psychical illnesses--on 94%. State of health of contingent, which is in SIZO, is considerably worse than health already convict. Found out the difference of indexes of health at the contingent of establishments of implementation of punishments in the separate areas of Ukraine, as on general so primary morbidity. Changes in the levels of general and primary morbidity contingent jail were the same as contingent convicted in some areas, but much more pronounced.

ABSTRACT

The implementation of regional tuberculosis control programs contributes to the improvement of the tuberculosis epidemic situation. The holding of a stimulating lottery among those who have undergone fluorographic study is a novel approach that increases the coverage of particularly the unorganized population with preventive fluographic studies. Social support of patients with tuberculosis improves the results of their treatment. To organize sanitary educational work among the population promotes the increase of its awareness and hence the improvement of preventive measures against tuberculosis.

ABSTRACT

A bacterial cenosis responsible for the destruction of organic wastes having a complex composition was selected under the conditions of continuous cultivation on highly concentrated industrial sewage. Most of the bacterial species and all of the yeasts and fungi were eliminated from the original microflora when the concentration of the purified sewage was increased from 2 to 12 g O2 per litre (in terms of the overall chemical oxygen uptake, COU) and the dilution rate (D) varied from 0.08 to 0.25 h-1. The number of species was reduced to 10 in the cenosis. The degree of oxidation of organic compounds in the sewage was 94 to 97% at the maximal parameters of the process. The specific rate of oxidation as well as the respiration and dehydrogenase activities increased with a rise in both COU and D. The highest biochemical activity was observed at D=0.25 h-1:
