[From a pilot oncogeriatrics coordination unit to the Oncageoise town-hospital network]. / D'une unité pilote de coordination en oncogériatrie au réseau ville-hôpital Oncageoise.

The collaboration between the oncology and geriatrics teams of Senlis hospital (Picardie) resulted in the creation in 2006 of a pilot oncogeriatrics coordination unit. This initiative of the Picardie region led to the setting up of the Oncageoise oncogeriatrics town-hospital network. The main aim of this network is to facilitate access to treatment and coordinate the care of elderly patients suffering from cancer.
