Aim The effects of diazepam on the whole cell sodium currents in rat sympathetic ganglion neurons were studied to investigate the mechanisms by diazepam mediates hypotension. Methods Whole cell patch clamp recordings were performed on enzymatically isolated rat superior cervical sympathetic ganglion neurons.
