ABSTRACT

The objective of this study was to investigate the protease family caspases in skeletal muscle and their potential contribution to postmortem proteolysis and meat tenderization. Nine yaks were slaughtered, and samples of Longissimus dorsal were injected with AC-DEVD-CHO at a ratio of 1:1 (w/v) and then stored at 4 °C for 2, 6, 12, 24, 72, and 120 h. Results indicate that the morphological changes of the muscle fibers are significantly obstructed, which is not conducive to the subsequent degradation of proteins. After inhibiting the activity of Caspase- 3, the activity of Caspase-8 and 9 and the energy metabolism was affected. In the case of without inhibition of caspase, the pH value decreased and then increased. The meat color and the water retention are better, the muscle fiber skeleton protein degradation is remarkable, the tenderness is improved. Furthermore, yak meat tenderness was improved by apoptotic pathway during aging.

ABSTRACT

Objective To discuss the coping methods of pediatric nurses with adverse psychology and behavior of parents with terminal children. Methods 198 parents who were assessed with adverse psychology and behavior with terminal children were chosen and randomly divided into the observation group(100 cases) and the control group(98 cases). The control group was given conventional care, while in the observation group, nursing intervention of humanistic care and reinforced health education were adopted in addition. The changes of adverse psychology and behavior of the two groups were observed. Χ2 test was used. Results The adverse psychology and behavior in the observation group was reduced significantly than that of the control group after nursing intervention. Conclusions Nursing intervention can effec-tively mitigate the adverse psychology and behavior in parents with terminal children. It plays an active role beth on the terminal children and their parents.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effect of family nursing intervention on infant brain injury rehabili-tation therapy. Methods 102 cases of brain injury infants were randomly divided into observation group(32 cases),intervention group(38 cases) and control group (32 eases), respectively. The patients in observation group received routine treatment, while those in intervention group received family nursing intervention based on routine treatment. The children in control group whose parents refused the comprehensive rehabilitation therapy. All subjects were as-sessed by Gesell test before and after rehabilitation treatment. Results Compared with the control group patients, all indicators in the observation group and the intervention group were significantly improved. There were also signifi-cant differences between observation group and the intervention group( P < 0.01 ). Conclusion Family nursing in-tervention can significantly improve the effect on infant brain injury rehabilitation therapy.
