ABSTRACT

In patients with purulent lactation mastitis the authors have revealed a shift in the wound media pH from the acid media in the phase of inflammation to alkaline media in the regeneration phase. The unceasing control of the medium pH changes facilitates the active influence upon the development of the wound pyo-inflammatory process in order to shorten time of treatment of patients. The application of ultrasound for the treatment of patients with purulent lactation mastitis results in more rapid healing of the wound.
