ABSTRACT

In this article, two significant elements in social media websites, system operation, and social technology are examined in connection to website visitors' online loyalty and interaction, namely, commitment and satisfaction, in neighborhood management through social media websites. A total of 287 social media users completed a systematic questionnaire. After confirmatory factor analysis, data were examined in AMOS 24 using structural equation modeling with bootstrap. The research showed that both variables indirectly influence website visitors' online loyalty and interaction via trust and satisfaction, but not directly. Online relationship quality characteristics impact the interaction pattern of social media users after changes in services applied by the respective organizations on their websites. As for managers, the research gives crucial data on user behavior in connection to new services launched by organizations on their websites and shows how value creation to the target audience may help them reduce costs and optimize revenues.

ABSTRACT

Corporate social responsibility has always been considered an important topic, and many studies discuss the association between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate performance, but the results are still inconclusive. This study is to examine the impact of CSR on corporate performance (financial and non-financial) with the moderating impact of ethical leadership. Data is gathered from 222 companies in Morocco using a simple random sampling technique. Moreover, for measuring customer satisfaction and corporate image in the kinds of customers targeted by the CSR activities of the firms, we collected data from customers and got 209 responses. For analyzing the results of this study, structural equation modeling has been used, while for moderation, the hierarchical regression technique has been adopted. Findings revealed a significant positive association found between CSR and corporate finance as well as non-financial performance (corporate image and customer satisfaction). Ethical leadership helps in increasing the financial and non-financial performance of an organization. The findings further revealed that ethical leadership moderates the relationship between CSR and firm financial and non-financial (corporate image and customer satisfaction) performance. This study will assist management in realizing the importance and implementation of CSR practices in organizations, especially in the Moroccan context.

ABSTRACT

This study examines the micro-level consequences of perceived corporate social responsibility (CSR) and hypothesizes that perceived CSR affects the perception-emotion-attitude-behavior sequence. We hypothesized that perceived CSR affects organizational pride (OP) (emotion), affects affective commitment (AC) (attitude), and enhances the employees' creative behaviors (behavior) by using the lens of appraisal theory of emotion (ATE). This study also hypothesizes that the association of perceived CSR and employee creative behaviors (ECBs) is serially mediated by OP and AC. The time-lagged data were collected from employees of only those companies participating in CSR activities to analyze the sequential mediation effect. We have tested the hypotheses of this study through Hayes approach. Results showed that perceived CSR kindles the employees' creative behaviors. Furthermore, "organizational pride" and "affective commitment" serially mediate the association of perceived CSR and ECB. Hence, the hypothesized perception-emotion-attitude-behavior model received a significant support and demonstrated that micro-level positive consequences of CSR could be created through emotional, attitude, and behavioral mechanisms. The organization should promote their CSR activities using documentaries and contents to improve their perception of environmental and social issues, and it enhances employees' pride and creativity.
