ABSTRACT

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic lung disease characterized by obstruction or obstruction of airflow in a reversible or partial nonreversible airway. Dyspnea is a common symptom in COPD sufferers; this can cause problems with oxygen saturation, or the oxygen saturation value is below normal. Non-pharmacological actions given in the form of breathing exercises can be done by a nurse to help reduce shortness of breath in COPD patients. The exercise is given by adjusting the resting position that is comfortable and comfortable so that the extra breath muscles can work well. The position that can do the position of the tripod with Active Cycle of Breathing and Pursed lips are breathing so that shortness of breath is reduced and SaO2 can have increased so that more oxygen has obtained in Lung Hospital, West Sumatra. This research is quantitative research, with quasi-experimental research methods. They used two pre-test-posttest design groups. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people with quota sampling technique. In this study showed that there was a difference in the increase in oxygen saturation of COPD patients which was effective in the tripod position group with Active Cycle Breathing Technique (ACBT) with a p-value of 0.00 while in the tripod position group with the Active Respiratory and Lip Cycle there was a difference of p-value 0.023. It has concluded that the tripod position with ACT and PBLT could increase oxygen saturation and nasal breathlessness reduced, but the tripod position with ACT is more effective in COP patients because with chronic respiratory patients who are short of breath due to sputum buildup, then with ACT will clean the airway and the flow of the road effective breathing so that shortness of breath have reduced and oxygen saturation increases. Furthermore, it has recommended that in hospitals, especially nurses, in dealing with COPD patients in addition to the correct position of breathing exercises with ACT to help patients

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of health service quality with patient satisfaction at H. Hanafie Muara Bungo Hospital. This research is an analytic study using a cross-sectional study approach. The population in this study were all inpatients at H. Hanafie Muara Bungo Hospital. The sampling technique used an accidental sampling of 49 people. Data collection was done using questionnaires. Analysis of the data was done by univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed there was a significant relationship between the reliability of officers, the responsiveness of officers, employee guarantees, the attention of health workers, and physical evidence of health services with the level of patient satisfaction at H. Hanafie Muara Bungo Hospital in 2019. Based on the results of the study, it was found that officer response, officer guarantee, officer attention, and physical evidence of service in the category of not qualified and there is a significant relationship with the level of patient satisfaction at H. ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: Pain management is one of the methods used in the health sector. Nursing care focuses on non-pharmacological measures, including the provision of aromatherapy using lavender and rose aromatherapy, which aims to understand the effectiveness of lavender and rose aromatherapy on pain intensity of postoperative patients in Laparatomi Hospital in Aisyiyah General Hospital in the surgical inpatient room, Padang in 2019. METHOD: The design of this study is a Quasi Experiment with pre-test and post-test designs with two groups. The sample of this study was Post Laparatomi in RSU with the technique of Accidental Sampling. The sample of this study consisted of 30 people for lavender and rose aromatherapy. Statistical tests used the Independent Test T-test. RESULT: Based on the results of the study it was found that lavender and rose aromatherapy can reduce pain scale in postoperative patients. But compared to the two intervention groups, the aroma group of lavender therapy is more effective with mean pain scale before lavender aromatherapy being 5.20 and pre-test is 3.40 with p-value 0.000. CONCLUSION: The nurses could provide nursing care in dealing with pain management in postoperative patients in addition to deep breathing techniques. It is recommended to apply aroma lavender therapy, which reduces pain and makes patients more relaxed

ABSTRACT

@#Introduction: Worldwide fractures among individuals are a major public health problem. As a result, fracture are the most common cause of severe enduring pain and physical disability, and they affect innumerable globally. It has been studied that nutrients that contain high protein helps in the fracture healing process. Eels contains many nutrients, such as phosphate, calcium, protein, collagen and amino acids that can help bone growth. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of eel flour (Monopterus albus) at multilevel dose content to accelerate the healing process of fracture in male Rattus novergicus Wistar Albino rat. Methods: This study design include experimental study with post-test only on controls group. The wok was conducted from May-June 2019 in the Laboratory of Anatomy of Stikes Piala Sakti Pariaman. The sampling was purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 24 rats. Results: The results of the ANOVA test have proved that administration of eel flour accelerates the healing process of the fracture showing 0.000, followed by Post Hoc LSD to determine the test of significant differences between groups. Conclusion: It was observed that with the increase in the dose of flour given to Wistar Albino rat fracture healing process became faster. From the present study it was evident that consumption of eel flour can accelerate the process of fracture healing. But there is need for further testing on humans as an effort to test the safety of the dose.
