ABSTRACT

The study presents the case of a smoker and occasional drinker that was admitted for intense dyspnea, cough with expectoration, dysphagia and general symptoms that led to a diagnosis of esophageal cancer by esophagoscopy. The patient died at the seventh day of admission for massive hematemesis secondary to an aortoesophageal fistula (AU)

ABSTRACT

We report a case of a 70 old man, who suffered a severe upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage, with final result of death. A scanner diagnosed an aortoesophageal fistula, due with high probability to a fish thorn.
