ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To describe the community agendas created by the Aragonese Primary Care Teams (PCT), to analyze the characteristics of said PCT, and to explore factors related to their implementation. METHOD: Descriptive observational study of the community agendas and the Aragonese PCT that have created them since the implementation of the Aragonese Community Care Strategy (ACCS) in 2016 until March 2021. Bivariate and multivariate analysis of the characteristics of these PCT that have created the agenda with respect to those who have not developed it. RESULTS: 75 of the 123 Aragonese PCT (61%) have created the community agenda. 74.7% of them also have an active Health Council. 45 of the 75 agendas are of the advanced type, with 41 PCT that had carried out the zone health diagnosis and 28 PCT that made asset recommendations. It was observed how the creation of the community agenda is related to being a PCT belonging to a semi-urban basic health zone (odds ratio [OR]: 3.02; 95% confidence interval [95% CI]: 1.22-7.47; p=0.017) and that at least one professional would have received specific training (OR: 5.29; 95% CI: 1.09-25.72; p=0.039). CONCLUSIONS: The community agenda is a tool that supports the development of community care for PCT. The training provided by the ACCS has been shown to be key to the development of the agendas, and this work must continue, with special emphasis on the PCT belonging to rural or urban basic health zones, since they are the ones that are experiencing the greatest difficulties.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT

In Mozambique, as in other parts of the world, COVID-19 has had consequences in many areas, especially in the health sector. This study aims to analyze the comments made and discussed on Facebook after the first death from the disease, verifying the main topics, concerns, and feelings that users most expressed on that social network. Using the content analysis method, IRaMuTeQ® generated a dendrogram focused on death, diagnostic circumstances, disease prevention, and restrictive government measures. Users also raised concerns about health care professionals, family and community, and feelings of sadness. Although the feelings presented reflect the lan-guage used in comments on a social network, and it is impossible to diagnose from them, this study creates paths for further research in the area. Therefore, for the first time, it demonstrates results from a mental health study with data analyzed from a social network in Mozambique. These results can guide and alert local health entities about health communications, strategies, and attention that should be given to the mental health of individuals during this pandemic and in the long term

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Objective: To analyze normative acts on coping with COVID-19 in the teaching environment, sanctioned by the state and federal governments of Brazil. Methods: Documentary research, with a qualitative approach to documents published by federal and state education and health bodies between March/2020 and March/2021, analyzed according to Bardin's Document Analysis framework. Results: From 61 documents, four categories resulted: Acts and strategies to protect against COVID19 adopted by the federal government; Normative acts of state governments on suspension of classes; Strategies to protect against COVID-19 in the teaching environment common among Brazilian states; Strategies to protect against COVID-19 in the teaching environment specific to Brazilian states. Final considerations: The normative acts analyzed present weaknesses regarding the clarification on how to establish the systematization of COVID-19 surveillance actions in the teaching environment, as well as there is a lack of reflections on the importance of such actions.

ABSTRACT

PIP: In response to the need of a health policy in Kosovo, the UN Mission in Kosovo produced their blueprint for a new health system--the Interim Health Policy Guidelines and Six-Month Action Plan. The document seeks not only to provide a framework for emergency work but also to bring about sustained reform in the current health care system. It also aimed to shift the focus of the whole health care system around giving primary care to Kosovars. Targeted areas are antenatal care and children's and mental health care which are currently falling well below European standards. Although a shift in the system will have huge effects on the health of Kosovars, a problem of changing the attitudes of doctors and of patients to accept general practice as real medicine is seen. However, without a policy framework, emergency activities can skew services dramatically. It can offer unsustainable levels of care and bring in uneven donations to different regions, which would encourage movement in the population.^ieng
