ABSTRACT

There are Seven Medical Classics recorded in the Han shu Yi wen zhi(Bibliography in Annals of the Han Dynasty), among which the 18-volume Huang di nei jing (Huangdi's Internal Classic) is not the current edition of Ling shu (Miraculous Pivot) and Su wen(Plain Questions). The present edition of Huang di nei jing containing these two works might be merged in the Eastern Han Dynasty, benefited from the invention of Cai Lun's papermaking technique and the development of Nine needles, especially filiform needle manufacturing. Huang di nei jing was compiled on the basis of two major integrations: The first was joined by some medical experts such as Bian Que and tai yi ling (minister of imperial physicians) of the Qin State by using the language in the Warring States, contributing mainly to the theoretical system and forming its basic academic framework; The second was the second Royal book-collating activity in the Eastern Han Dynasty (100-110), which had revised the seven volumes of Chinese Medical Classics and incorporated them into two parts, Ling Shu and Su Wen, together with Bian Que's medical works and the new contents from the introductory Chapter on Nine Needles and Twelve Yuan(origin) Acupoints.

ABSTRACT

As a new interdisciplinary course, the current paper writing course for medical postgraduates exhibits certaln disadvantages. For example, the course does not well target the learners' needs because of the absence of the needs analysis before class;English or biomedical teachers fall to combine English with medicine, thus unable to provide ideal courses. As textbooks are an important means to improve the quality of the course, one way to reform the course is to compile high-quality textbooks by interdisciplinary talents. Meanwhile, the compiling process should be guided by needs analysis as well as the teaching and editing experiences. In addition, the textbooks need to be con-tinuously improved in teaching practice.

ABSTRACT

PBL (Problem-based learning) is a kind of teaching method, which is helpful for guiding students to solve practical and complex problems. The compiling of PBL teaching plans is the key to the implementation of PBL teaching. According to the teaching outline of internal medicine, we set the PBL teaching plan, formulated the teaching goal, collected the clinical real cases, finished the compiling of PBL cases of student version and teacher version, and preceded teaching practice accord-ing to the PBL cases. Improving and constructing the compiling framework of internal medicine PBL teaching plan laid the theoretical foundation for carrying out internal medicine PBL teaching.

ABSTRACT

After providing a brief biography of the author, this article outlines a study in which two new definitions of state of the art are constructed and compared, then applied to Carlos Cardona Pescador’s definition. The state of the art or highest level of development is presented as one of the best resources to develop the compiling phase of any scientific research on a particular topic, or in this case, an author, with a proposal that breaks down economic barriers in terms of access to obtaining and producing cutting edge scientific knowledge by including the greatest possible approximation to the universal range of sources and to a critical study of the author, and of these as a whole. It includes the work of an author and intellectual products about the author in which he or she is quoted or mentioned, thereby facilitating, in its interdisciplinary applicability, the development of secularity in bioethics founded on a scientific resource that allows for a better understanding of those who enrich it, and a way to develop global bioethics, as it takes into account the external context and internal characteristics of what constitutes its object or subject of study.
