ABSTRACT

Authors performed at a severe injury of the upper limb the transposition of the left hand and lower arm on the stump of the right upper arm. 10 months have passed since the operation. The present state is described.

ABSTRACT

A case report of a contralateral autotransplantation after severe bilateral upper limb injury is presented. The left arm just above the elbow was replanted onto the stump of the right upper arm.

ABSTRACT

We report our experience of a patient with a most unusual and unfortunate combination of injuries. We feel that this case demonstrates not only the value of vascularised bone grafts in the treatment of large defects but also the imaginative use of seemingly useless parts in surgical reconstruction.
