ABSTRACT
El autor se plantea una comprensión psicoanalítica de los movimientos sociales que, en Occidente, tienden a una progresiva exclusión de la figura y función paternas. Tomando como referencia las conclusiones de investigaciones psicosociales y su propia experiencia clínica, intenta resaltar la problemática inherente al déficit de la función paterna. Sin embargo, se muestra pesimista en cuanto a la posibilidad de evitar, en nuestra sociedad, una regresión masiva a modos de funcionamiento mental equiparables a lo que, en psicoanálisis, conocemos como pregenitalidad, especialmente caracterizada por la indiferenciación de figuras y funciones (AU)
The author expounds on a psychoanalytical understanding of the social movements that, in the West, spread to a progressive exclusion of the paternal figure and function. Taking as a reference the conclusions of psychosocial investigations and his own clinical experience, he tries to underline the inherent problem of a deficit of the paternal function. However, he is shown to be pessimistic as far as the possibility of avoiding, in our society, a massive regression to modes of mental operation comparable to what, in psychoanalysis we know as pre-genitality, specifically characterized by the undifferentiating between figures and functions (AU)
