RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To identify polymorphisms in the genes of dopaminergic and serotonergic systems associated with the risk of suicidal behavior in individuals with dependence on synthetic cathinones. MATERIAL AND METHODS: One hundred and eighty-two men with the diagnosis of Substance dependence (ICD-10 F15) tested positive for metabolites of synthetic cathinones (a-PVP, MDPV) in the urine were studied. Genotyping was performed for rs1800497 DRD2, rs4646984 DRD4, VNTR 40 b.p. SLC6A3, rs27072 SLC6A3, rs6313 HTR2A and rs6296 HTR1B using PCR and RFLP technique. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: It was found that the genes of the serotonergic system HTR2A and HTR1B are predictors of the development of some endophenotypes of suicidal behavior in individuals with dependence on synthetic cathinones.

RESUMEN

AIM: To develop a model of assessment of individual risk of dependence on synthetic cannabinoids based on genetic factors and diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). MATERIAL AND METHODS: The study included 146 male adolescents using synthetic cannabinoids and 136 healthy people. The genetic study considered the combination of dependence on synthetic cannabinoids and ADHD. Six polymorphisms in the genes of dopaminergic and serotonergic systems were genotyped. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: In general, the results of this work confirm the important role of the dopaminergic and serotonergic systems in the pathogenesis of substance use disorders, and the significance of changes in the nucleotide sequences of DRD2, SLC6A3, HTR2A genes in the development of dependence on synthetic cannabinoids with ADHD.

RESUMEN

AIM: To assess the efficacy of monotherapy of anxiety in alcoholism with alimemazine (teraligen). MATERIAL AND METHODS: Thirty-six patients with alcohol addiction were treated with alimemazine in dose 15 mg during 9 month. In control group (11 patients) teraligen was no used. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: A significant positive effect of treatment with teraligen was observed. There were the improvement in alcohol addiction course, decrease in scores on the Addiction Severity Index (ASI) from severe to mild level and decrease in trait and state anxiety measured with the Spielberger-Khanin scale from high to low levels. The reduction on symptoms of depression from moderate (at baseline) to subdepressive levels on the Beck Depression Inventory was noted in the end of treatment.

RESUMEN

The investigation of interrelationships between the phospholipides of various microorganisms (33 strains of corynebacteria, mycobacteria and staphylococci) using crossed antibody neutralization reactions with phospholipide antigenic erythrocyte diagnostic was used for the assessment of the degree of antigenic propinquity and antigenic differences between the phospholipides of bacteria of the same species, genus, and of different genera. The role of the determinants of the corresponding (their own) and "foreign" genera in the antigenic differences between the phospholipides of the microorganisms investigated was established. On the basis of the results obtained the conclusion has been drawn that the method of assessment of antigenic interrelationships between phospholipides can be used for the study of some taxonomic problems.
