RESUMEN
A menopausa é uma fase de transição no ciclo de vida da mulher e por longo tempo na história foi associada a sofrimento, perda, depressão e sintomas desconfortáveis. As transformações que acontecem no organismo são aconpanhadas ou atravessadas por aspectos socias e culturais e influenciam seu psicológico, criando visões positivas ou negativas desse momento de vida. As pressões sobre as mulheres são tantas e ainda mais nesta fase, quando mudanças significativas acontecem e interferem não só em aspectos individuais, mas nos seus relacionamentos mais importantes, alterando seu status dentro da sociedade. Pretende-se, neste artigo,analisar as influências culturais sobre a sexualidade feminina na menopausa, focando nos papéis sexuais da mulher dentro da visão bioenergética de Alexander Lowen.(AU)
The menopause is a transition stage in a woman's life cycle and throughout the history it has passed an idea of pain, losse, depression and uncomfortable symptoms. The transformations that happen im the woman's organism are followed by social and cultural facts and have influence on her psychological condition, creating either positives or negatives perspectives of this moment in life. There is such a prssure on women especially in this part of their lives, when significant changes occur, interfering not only in individual matters, but also in most important relationships, changing their status in the society. This article intends to analyze the cultural influences on the female sexuality during menopause, focusing on the women's sexual roles, according to the bioenergetic view of Alexander Lowern.(AU)
