RESUMEN

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is characterized with high morbidity and mortality, mainly due to frequent recurrence and metastasis. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms of NSCLC tumorigenesis are largely unclear. Through data mining in the ONCOMINE and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) databases, the expression of CSE1L (chromosome segregation like 1 protein/CAS), an exportin, was identified to be significantly upregulated in NSCLC and positively associated with poor prognosis of patients. By use of in vitro and in vivo gain- and loss-of-function experiments, we found that CSE1L can promote NSCLC cell proliferation while inhibiting cell apoptosis. Through immunoprecipitation and mass spectrometry experiments, we demonstrated that CSE1L interacted with RELA (named as P65) and affected its location in the nucleus. Moreover, we found that one of the mechanisms by which CSE1L promotes proliferation and inhibits apoptosis is through activating the nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB)/mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway. In summary, our findings indicated an oncogenic role of CSE1L in NSCLC tumorigenesis.

RESUMEN

Uniform and vertical indium-oxide nanotube (IONT) arrays embedded well in n-type InP single crystal have been successfully prepared in situ by porous InP-template-assisted chemical vapor deposition (CVD). This IONT/InP nanostructure reveals high sensitivity to humidity at room temperature, which is ascribed to the ultrahigh surface-to-volume ratio of this nanostructure and the large number of oxygen defected states in IONTs. Such a nanostructure of IONT arrays embedded in a III-V semiconductor substrate could be expected to have potential applications, such as superior gas sensors. This work provides a novel approach for fabricating low-melting metal oxide semiconductor nanotubes.

RESUMEN

The treatment of coking residual ammonia water has been a big difficult problem at home and abroad, and there is no breakthrough research achievement in the past. The invention patent "The method of treating all coking wastewater or treating coking residual ammonia water by flue gas" has been successfully used in Huaian Steel Works for high concentration and organic industry wastewater treatment. Not only can it realize the wastewater zero discharge, but also the wastewater treatment has an effect of de-sulfur and de-nitrogen for flue gas. So that the flue gas exhaust can meet the requirement of emission standard. The mass transfer and heat transfer, fly ash absorption and coagulation, acid and alkali neutralization reaction, catalysis oxidation and reduction reaction in flue gas would be the major factors.

RESUMEN

Distribution of harringtonine positively and negatively charged liposome (HL(+), HL(-)) and harringtonine free drug (FH) in rat tissues were measured by HPLC. Their LD50 in mice were compared. The results showed that distribution of HL(+), HL(-), In vivo may be changed, that the amount of HL(+), HL(-) was increased in the liver, lung, and spleen and in these tissues it was 2-30-fold higher than that of HF after iv 2 h. HL(+), HL(-) may aid to permeate through the blood-brain, blood-testicle barrier, and to reduce acute lethal toxicity. Areas under the time curve of HL(+), HL(-) in brain and testis within 2 h were 2-4.5 times as much as those of HF. There were significant differences in the fate between negatively and positively charged liposomes in vivo.
