[Prophylaxis and treatment of postoperative purulent-septic complications in patients with perforative gastroduodenal ulcer].

Experience of treatment of 43 patients, operated on for perforative gastroduodenal ulcer, was summarized. In 23 of them in the early postoperative period amoxyclav was applied for the treatment and prophylaxis, what have had assisted the reduction of the complications rate as well as the length of treatment of the patients in stationary. Good tolerance of the preparation was noted.

In diagnostic study of the immunocompetent system in 36 patients with purulent septic complications of acute appendicitis, the immunodeficient state has been revealed. Inclusion into the complex of treatment of transfusion of the cryoconservated bone marrow from a cadaver contributed to accelerated normalization of the immunocompetent system, shortening of the time of wound cleaning from necrotized tissues and its healing, duration of the period of rehabilitation of the patients.

[Surgical treatment of elderly patients with acute cholecystitis]. / Khirurgicheskoe lechenie bolnykh pozhilogo i starcheskogo vozrasta s ostrym kholetsistitom.

The experience with surgical treatment of 136 elderly and senile patients with acute cholecystitis has been summarized. In presence of pronounced concomitant pathology and reduced adaptation-compensatory resources of an organism, the authors consider microcholecystostomy to be a method of choice. The use of this method permits to improve the results of surgical treatment and decrease the postoperative lethality.

[Importance of immunologic protection factors in predicting the development of purulent septic complications after appendectomy]. / Znachenie faktorov immunologicheskoi zashchity v prognozirovanii razvitiia gnoino-septicheskikh oslozhnenii posle appendektomii.

In 66 patients with acute appendicitis, the immunocompetent system was studied in dynamics, significant decrease in all the parameters considered before and at different time after the operation was revealed. In patients with complicated forms of the disease, disorders in immunity were more pronounced, and didn't disappear by the moment of clinical recovery. Sharp reduction (more than 40-50%) of both humoral and cellular links of immunity by day 1 and 3 after the operation can be used as an early prognostic sigh of the development of a postoperative wound suppuration.

The analysis of the results of treatment of 466 patients with incarcerated hernias of different location is given. The changes in homeostasis, depending on the aggravating destructive changes in the incarcerated intestinal loop, have been studied.

An analysis of results of treatment of 135 patients with purulent wounds and acute pyonecrotic injuries of soft tissues has shown the application of cryoprocedures especially when combined with the laser irradiation to promote earlier cleaning of the wound from necrotic tissues, early appearance of granulations, quicker healing the wounds and medical rehabilitation of the patients.
