RESUMEN

The present research has as objective to compare the effectiveness and practicality of technical ultrasound transabdominal and transrectal for pregnancy diagnosis in crossbred goats from Anglo-Nubian. The experiment was conducted in the goat sector of the Technical College of Bom Jesus - CTBJ, the Federal University of Piauí, Bom Jesus, Piaui. Were used 10 crossbred goats of Anglo-Nubiano that were submitted to natural coverage, with major station started on 15 March 2016 and 45 days duration. The first pregnancy diagnosis was made 30 days after the end of the breeding season (June 4, 2016), the second diagnosis accomplished 15 days after the first (June 19,2016), when it was not possible to visualize the fetus transrectal that maked not necessary to conduct a third evaluation.(AU)
