RESUMEN
The aim of this work was to evaluate the influence of feeding flushing on 20 Nellore cows with three different body scores, CSC 3.5, CSC 5.5 and CSC 7.5 (scale from 1 to 9). Their metabolic and hormonal alterations, embryos production, weight gain and carcass were evaluated. The plasmatic levels of glucose, triglycerides, progesterone and estrogen, corpus luteum weight and the total number of structures were not influenced by corporal score or flushing. The urea levels were higher to the CSC 7.5 cows and similar for those CSC 5.5 and CSC 3.5. The corpus luteum quantities were similar for CSC 7.5 and CSC 5.5 cows and bigger for the CSC 3.5 ones. The number of non-fertilized structures was inferior for CSC 7.5 and CSC 5.5 cows compared to CSC 3.5 ones. The number of degenerated structures was superior for CSC 7.5 cows if compared to CSC 5.5 and CSC 3.5 ones
O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a influência da utilização do flushing alimentar em 20 vacas nelore com três diferentes escores corporais, ESC 3,5, ESC 5,5, e ESC 7,5, (escala de 1 a 9), sobre as alterações metabólicas e hormonais, produção de embriões, ganho de peso e avaliação de carcaça. Os níveis plasmáticos de glicose, triglicerídeos, progesterona e estrógeno, assim como o peso médio do corpo lúteo e o número total de estruturas não foram influenciados pelo escore corporal e pelo flushing. Os níveis de uréia foram superiores nas vacas com ESC 7,5 e semelhantes naquelas com ESC 3,5 e ESC 5,5. O número de corpos lúteos foram semelhantes para as vacas com ESC 7,5 e ESC 5,5 e superior aos das vacas com ESC 3,5. O número de estruturas não fertilizadas foi menor para vacas com ESC 7,5 e ESC 5,5, em relação às vacas com ESC 3,5. O número de estruturas degeneradas foi superior em vacas com ESC 7,5 em relação às vacas com ESC 5,5 e ESC 3,5
