RESUMEN

Objective To analyze the compliance and influencing factors of patients with mental disorders complicated with diabetes treatment in a third-class general hospital of Nantong City, and to provide theoretical basis for improving the compliance of patients with mental disorders complicated with diabetes treatment. Methods Among of 148 patients with mental disorders combined with diabetes admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were selected and divided into poor compliance group and good compliance group according to the investigation of diabetes treatment compliance. The blood glucose control of the two groups was compared, and clinical data of patients were collected from the medical record system. The independent risk factors affecting the compliance of patients with mental disorders and diabetes were analyzed. Results The levels of FBG, PBG and HbA1c in poor compliance group were significantly lower than those in good compliance group (P<0.05). The results showed that poor cognition of the disease (OR=2.649), paranoid psychosis (OR=0.371), low self-awareness and attitude score (OR=0.618), poor blood glucose control (OR=2.914) were independent risk factors affecting the compliance of patients with mental disorders and diabetes mellitus (P<0.05). Conclusion The compliance of patients with mental disorders combined with diabetes in the treatment of diabetes is not high and the control of blood sugar is not good. Mental health service outlets should be added to actively control the blood sugar of patients, focusing on paranoid mental patients and strengthening the publicity and education of guardians, which can improve the treatment compliance of patients and contribute to the prognosis of patients.

RESUMEN

To study the allelopathic effect of the extracts of Landoltia punctata, the changes of cell density of Microcystis aeruginosa were measured. The anti-algae allelopathic effect of different organic solvent extracts of L. punctata was evaluated, and the physiological, biochemical indexes were determined to discuss the mechanism of algal inhibition. The results showed that the petroleum ether, dichloromethane and ethyl acetate extracts showed various inhibitory effects on M. aeruginosa. Among them, ethyl acetate extract was the most strongly allelopathic part with the semi-effect concentration(EC50) of 59.6 mg L-1, the central polarity part of inhibitory activity. The contents of chlorophyll a(Chl a) and phycobiliproteins(PBPs) of M. aeruginosa were decreased under the concentration of 200 mg L-1 ethyl acetate extract, which indicated that the photosynthesis of M. aeruginosa was inhibited. The consent of microcystins was lower compared to control under 200 mg L-1. The contents of superoxide dismutase(SOD), malondialdehyde(MDA) and hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) of cell pellets were firstly increased and then decreased, which suggested that the algal cells were seriously damaged by oxidation. The results indicated that the extracts of L. punctata had inhibitory effect on M. aeruginosa, and the ethyl acetate extract was the central part of the inhibitory substances, which affected photosynthesis and caused peroxidation damage to inhibit cell proliferation. These findings will be helpful for exploration and application of allelopathic effects of L. punctata in harmful algae control.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the risk factors and prognosis of the patients with malignant solid tumors complicated with the disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). Methods The clinical data of 54 malignant solid tumors patients complicated with DIC in Shanxi Provincial People's Hospital from January 2004 to December 2014 were analyzed retrospectively, which were compared with the malignant tumor patients without DIC. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to explore the risk factors of solid tumor complicated with DIC, and the effect of concurrent DIC on the prognosis of patients was analyzed. Results Multiple factor analysis showed that advanced tumor (OR = 0.252, P = 0.019), concurrent hypoproteinemia(OR=0.119,P=0.005),concurrent infection(OR=0.122,P=0.003)were the independent risk factors of the malignant solid tumor patients complicated with DIC. The case fatality rate of the patients with DIC was 85.2 % (46/54), which was higher than that of the control group (7.4 %, 4/54), and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=65.69,P <0.001).Conclusion Early detection of malignant solid tumors, positive correction of hypoproteinemia, and the effective control of infection as soon as possible can help to prevent the occurrence of DIC and reduce the death caused by DIC.

RESUMEN

Objective To explore the correlation between Triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), total cholesterol (TC) and diabetic Peripheral neuropathy, and to provide a clinical basis for the diagnosis of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods A total of 48 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy diagnosed in our hospital from January 2017 to January 2018 were retrospectively analyzed and enrolled into the DPN group. Another 48 patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to our hospital during the same period were included in the T2DM group. The differences of triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),and apolipoprotein B (ApoB) between the two groups were analyzed. And the correlation between these indicators and diabetic peripheral neuropathy were analyzed by logistic regression equation. Results The levels of TG, TC, LDL-C and ApoB in the DPN group were significantly higher than those in the T2DM group, and HDL-C was significantly lower in the DPN group than that in the T2DM group (P<0.05). Logistic regression equation analysis showed that TG, TC, and HDL-C, LDL-C, ApoB were risk factors for the onset of DPN (P<0.05). Conclusion The level of blood lipids in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy is higher than that in patients with diabetes alone. The levels of TG, TC and HDL-C,LDL-C, ApoB are closely related to the pathogenesis of DPN, which are important factors leading to neuromicrovascular disease.

RESUMEN

The BCCIP (BRCA2- and CDKN1A-interacting protein) is an important cofactor for BRCA2 in tumor suppression. Although the low expression of BCCIP is observed in multiple clinically diagnosed primary tumor tissues such as ovarian cancer, renal cell carcinoma and colorectal carcinoma, the mechanism of how BCCIP is regulated in cells is still unclear. The human INO80/YY1 chromatin remodeling complex composed of 15 subunits catalyzes ATP-dependent sliding of nucleosomes along DNA. Here, we first report that BCCIP is a novel target gene of the INO80/YY1 complex by presenting a series of experimental evidence. Gene expression studies combined with siRNA knockdown data locked candidate genes including BCCIP of the INO80/YY1 complex. Silencing or over-expressing the subunits of the INO80/YY1 complex regulates the expression level of BCCIP both in mRNA and proteins in cells. Also, the functions of INO80/YY1 complex in regulating the transactivation of BCCIP were confirmed by luciferase reporter assays. Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) experiments clarify the enrichment of INO80 and YY1 at +0.17 kb downstream of the BCCIP transcriptional start site. However, this enrichment is significantly inhibited by either knocking down INO80 or YY1, suggesting the existence of both INO80 and YY1 is required for recruiting the INO80/YY1 complex to BCCIP promoter region. Our findings strongly indicate that BCCIP is a potential target gene of the INO80/YY1 complex.
