The TCM syndrome objectivity research on polycystic ovary syndrome of spleen-kidney yang deficiency type / 国际中医中药杂志

Objective To explore the essence of polycystic ovary syndrome of spleen-kidney yang deficiency,and to investigate the objective standardization of TCM syndrome diagnosis of the disease.Methods Among the 200 PCOS patients,the Chinese medicine syndrome pattern was differentiated as spleen-kidney yangdeficiency type (n=105 )and Non-spleen-kidney yang deficiency type (n=95).To measure and compare their levels ofBMI、WHR、sexual hormones、FINS、2 hINS,and HOMR-IR.Results The levels of BMI (24.4±2.8)、WHR (0.88±0.07)、LH/FSH (2.02±1.06)、E2 (55.84±23.87) pg/ml、HOMR-IR (2.95±1.52)、FINS (15.18±7.64) IU/ml、2hINS ( 59.53 ±40.61 ) IU/ml in the group of spleen-kidney yang deficiency type were obviously higher than those[ (22.2±2.2)、(0.80±0.06)、(3.50± 1.80)、(45.82±21.31) pg/ml、( 1.90± 1.50)、(9.93±6.59) IU/ml、(50.56±41.34) IU/ml respectively] in the group of Non-spleen-kidney yang deficiency type (P＜0.05＝,but T and FSH level showed no significant difference between two groups [FSH the group of spleen-kidney yang deficiency type=(6.46±0.95) IU/L、FSH the group of No-spleen-kidney yang deficiency type=(6.40±1.16) IU/L; T the group of spleen-kidney yang deficiency type=(0.81±0.15) μg/L、T the group of No-spleen-kidney yang deficiency type=(0.72±0.13) μg/L,P＞0.05].Conclusion BMI、WHR、LH/FSH、E2、FINS、2HINS,and HOMR-IR could be used as objective index in identifying the difference in between spleen-kidney yang deficiency type and Non-spleen-kidney yang deficiency type.

Effects of shoutai pills on expression of Th1/Th2 cytokine in maternal-fetal interface and pregnancy outcome / 中国中药杂志

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To evaluate its mechanism of inducing the maternal-fetal immune tolerance by studying the effects of Shoutai pills on the expression of Th1/Th2 cytokine and pregnancy in maternal-fetal interface of mice with recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA).</p><p><b>METHOD</b>The normal pregnancy and RSA model were respectively induced with CBA/J x BALB/c and CBA/J x DBA/2. The mice with RSA were randomly divided into model group and low, middle and high dose groups of Shoutai pills. The mice were killed in 14 days after administration and embryo resorption rate was counted and their decidual and placental tissues were co-cultured to detect the expressions of IL-4, IL-10, IFN-gamma and TNF-alpha with ELISA.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>The embryo resorption rate of the model group was significantly higher than the normal pregnancy, middle and high dose groups of Shoutai pills could decreased the embryo resorption rate of the mice with RSA (P < 0.05). All the doses in 3 groups of Shoutai pills could decreased the expression of IFN-gamma and TNF-alpha (P < 0. 05) and there was no obvious difference between normal pregnancy group and all groups of Shoutai pills. Middle and high doses of Shoutai pills could increased the expression of IL-4 and IL-10 (P < 0.05) and there was no obvious differences between normal pregnancy and high dose group of Shoutai pills.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The mechanism about Shoutai pills can change Th1 /Th2 cytokine towards Th2 bias, which induced the maternal-fetal immune tolerance.</p>

EVALUATION OF THE EFFICACY OF TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE TREATMENT FOR ENDOMETRIOSIS INDUCED INFERTILITY AFTER LAPAROSCOPY SURGERY / 现代医院

Objective To investigate the different clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine and laparoscopy surgery treatment for endometriosis infertility.Methods The 45 cases of endometriosis infertility were randomly divided into two groups, for the control group,22 patients were treated by laparoscopy surgery treatment;for the experimental group, 23 patients combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment after laparoscopy surgery.Results The efficiency of the two groups are as follows:the effective rate of the experimental group 913%, the control group 727%；the two groups were significantly different（p<0.05），the pregnancy rate of the experimental group is 696%, and the control group is 454%, the two groups were significantly different（p<0.05）.Conclusion After laparoscopy surgery combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment for endometriosis infertility is significantly effective, and it is worthy of clinical application.

Effects of Shoutaiwan on the STAT Signal Transduction Pathway of CD_4~+ T Cells in Maternal-fetal Interface of Mice with Recurrent Spontaneous Abortion / 中国中医药信息杂志

Objective To study the effects of Shoutaiwan on the STAT signal transduction pathway of CD4+ T cells in maternal-fetal interface of mice with recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA).Methods CBA/J?BALB/C mating combination and CBA/J?DBA/2 mating combination were used as normal pregnancy and RSA model respectively.Mice with RSA were randomly assigned to model group and Shoutaiwan group.After 14 days of administration,the STAT signal transduction pathway of CD4+ T cells in mice decidual and placental tissues were detected by Springbio 720 antibody microarrays.Results Shoutaiwan could increase the phosphorylation level of STAT3 and STAT6 protein in the STAT signal transduction pathway.At the same time,Shoutaiwan could decrease the phosphorylation level of STAT1 protein.Conclusion The activation of STAT3 and STAT6 signal transduction pathway might play a important role in the therapy of RSA by Shoutaiwan.
