ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: Triptolide is a major bioactive and toxic ingredient isolated from the traditional Chinese herb Tripterygium wilfordii (T. wilfordii) Hook F. It exhibits potent antitumor, immunosuppressive, and anti-inflammatory biological activities; however, its clinical application is hindered by severe systemic toxicity. Two preparations of T. wilfordii, including T. wilfordii glycoside tablets and T. wilfordii tablets, containing triptolide, are commonly used in clinical practice. However, their adverse side effects, particularly hepatotoxicity, limit their safe use. Therefore, it is crucial to discover potent and specific detoxification medicines for triptolide. AIM OF THE STUDY: This study aimed to investigate the detoxification effects and potential mechanism of action of spironolactone on triptolide-induced hepatotoxicity to provide a potential detoxifying strategy for triptolide, thereby promoting the safe applications of T. wilfordii preparations in clinical settings. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Cell viability was assessed using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay and crystal violet staining. Nuclear fragmentation was visualized using 4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) staining, and protein expression was analyzed by Western blotting. The inhibitory effect of spironolactone on triptolide-induced hepatotoxicity was evaluated by examining the effects of spironolactone on serum alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase levels, as well as liver pathology in a mouse model of triptolide-induced acute hepatotoxicity. Furthermore, a survival assay was performed to investigate the effects of spironolactone on the survival rate of mice exposed to a lethal dose of triptolide. The effect of spironolactone on triptolide-induced global transcriptional repression was assessed through 5-ethynyl uridine staining. RESULTS: Triptolide treatment decreased the cell viability, increased the nuclear fragmentation and the cleaved caspase-3 levels in both hepatoma cells and hepatocytes. It also increased the alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase levels, induced the hepatocyte swelling and necrosis, and led to seven deaths out of 11 mice. The above effects could be mitigated by pretreatment with spironolactone. Additionally, molecular mechanism exploration unveiled that spironolactone inhibited triptolide-induced DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit RPB1 degradation, consequently increased the fluorescence intensity of 5-ethynyl uridine staining for nascent RNA. CONCLUSIONS: This study shows that spironolactone exhibits a potent detoxification role against triptolide hepatotoxicity, through inhibition of RPB1 degradation induced by triptolide and, in turn, retardation of global transcriptional inhibition in affected cells. These findings suggest a potential detoxification strategy for triptolide that may contribute to the safe use of T. wilfordii preparations.

BACKGROUND: Chemotherapy for malignant tumors can cause brain changes and cognitive impairment, leading to chemotherapy-induced cognitive impairment (CICI). Current research on CICI has focused on breast cancer and Hodgkin's lymphoma. Whether patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) undergoing chemotherapy have cognitive impairment has not been fully investigated. AIM: To investigate whether NHL patients undergoing chemotherapy had cognitive impairments. METHODS: The study included 100 NHL patients who were required to complete a comprehensive psychological scale including the Brief Psychiatric Examination Scale (MMSE) at two time points: before chemotherapy and within 2 wk of two chemotherapy courses. A language proficiency test (VFT), Symbol Number Pattern Test (SDMT), Clock Drawing Test (CDT), Abbreviated Daily Cognition Scale (ECog-12), Prospective and Retrospective Memory Questionnaire, and Karnofsky Performance Status were used to assess cognitive changes before and after chemotherapy. RESULTS: The VFT scores for before treatment (BT) and after treatment (AT) groups were 45.20 ± 15.62, and 42.30 ± 17.53, respectively (t -2.16, P < 0.05). The CDT scores were 8 (3.5-9.25) for BT and 7 (2.5-9) for AT groups (Z -2.1, P < 0.05). Retrospective memory scores were 13.5 (9-17) for BT and 15 (13-18) for AT (Z -3.7, P < 0.01). The prospective memory scores were 12.63 ± 3.61 for BT and 14.43 ± 4.32 for AT groups (t -4.97, P < 0.01). The ECog-12 scores were 1.71 (1.25-2.08) for BT and 1.79 (1.42-2.08) for AT groups (Z -2.84, P < 0.01). The SDMT and MMSE values did not show a significant difference between BT and AT groups. CONCLUSION: Compared to the AT group, the BT group showed impaired language, memory, and subjective cognition, but objective cognition and execution were not significantly affected.

KRAS inhibitors demonstrate clinical efficacy in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC); however, resistance is common. Among patients with KRASG12C-mutant PDAC treated with adagrasib or sotorasib, mutations in PIK3CA and KRAS, and amplifications of KRASG12C, MYC, MET, EGFR, and CDK6 emerged at acquired resistance. In PDAC cell lines and organoid models treated with the KRASG12D inhibitor MRTX1133, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling associate with resistance to therapy. MRTX1133 treatment of the KrasLSL-G12D/+;Trp53LSL-R172H/+;p48-Cre (KPC) mouse model yielded deep tumor regressions, but drug resistance ultimately emerged, accompanied by amplifications of Kras, Yap1, Myc, and Cdk6/Abcb1a/b, and co-evolution of drug-resistant transcriptional programs. Moreover, in KPC and PDX models, mesenchymal and basal-like cell states displayed increased response to KRAS inhibition compared to the classical state. Combination treatment with KRASG12D inhibition and chemotherapy significantly improved tumor control in PDAC mouse models. Collectively, these data elucidate co-evolving resistance mechanisms to KRAS inhibition and support multiple combination therapy strategies.

MXene is considered as a promising solid lubricant due to facile shearing ability and tuneable surface chemistry. However, it faces challenges in high-humidity environments where excessive water molecules can significantly impact its 2D structure, thus deteriorating its lubricating properties. In this work, the self-assembled monolayers are formed on MXene by surface chlorination (MXene-Cl) and fluorination (MXene-F), and their friction behaviors in high/low humidity are investigated. The results indicate that MXene-F and MXene-Cl can maintain a relatively constant friction coefficient (CoF) (MXene-F ∼0.76, MXene-Cl ∼0.48) under both high (75%) and low (25%)-relative humidity (RH) environments. Meanwhile, the MXene-F and MXene-Cl display a lower CoF than the pristine MXene (MXene CoF∼1.18) in high humidity. The above phenomena are mainly attributed to the preservation of its 2D layered structure, the increased layer spacing, and superficial partial oxidation for SAMs-functionalized MXene under high humidity during friction. Interestingly, MXene-Cl with moderate water resistance has a lower CoF than that of MXene-F with complete water resistance. The nanostructured water adsorption capacity and larger interlayer spacing of MXene-Cl make it exhibit a lower CoF compared to MXene-F. The findings of this study offer valuable guidance for tailoring MXene by surface chemical functionalization as an efficient solid lubricant in high humidity.

Estrogen is imperative to mammalian reproductivity, metabolism, and aging. However, the hormone activating estrogen receptor (ERs) α can cause major safety concerns due to the enrichment of ERα in female tissues and certain malignancies. In contrast, ERß is more broadly expressed in metabolic tissues and the skin. Thus, it is desirable to generate selective ERß agonist conjugates for maximizing the therapeutic effects of ERs while minimizing the risks of ERα activation. Here, we report the design and production of small molecule conjugates containing selective non-steroid ERß agonists Gtx878 or genistein. Treatment of aged mice with our synthesized conjugates improved aging-associated declines in insulin sensitivity, visceral adipose integrity, skeletal muscle function, and skin health, with validation in vitro. We further uncovered the benefits of ERß conjugates in the skin using two inducible skin injury mouse models, showing increased skin basal cell proliferation, epidermal thickness, and wound healing. Therefore, our ERß-selective agonist conjugates offer novel therapeutic potential to improve aging-associated conditions and aid in rejuvenating skin health.

Chronic non-communicable diseases (CNCDs) pose a significant public health challenge. Addressing this issue, there has been a notable breakthrough in the prevention and mitigation of NCDs through the use of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents. In this study, we aim to explore the effectiveness of Eupatorium adenophora Spreng leaves (EASL) as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, and its potential applications. To construct a cellular model of oxidative damage and inflammation, Caco-2 cells were treated with tert-butyl hydroperoxide (t-BHP). The biocompatibility of EASL-AE with Caco-2 cells was assessed using the MTT assay, while compatibility was further verified by measuring LDH release and the protective effect against oxidative damage was also assessed using the MTT assay. Additionally, we measured intracellular oxidative stress indicators such as ROS and 8-OHdG, as well as inflammatory pathway signalling protein NFκB and inflammatory factors TNF-α and IL-1ß using ELISA, to evaluate the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capacity of EASL-AE. The scavenging capacity of EASL-AE against free radicals was determined through the DPPH Assay and ABTS Assay. Furthermore, we measured the total phenolic, total flavonoid, and total polysaccharide contents using common chemical methods. The chemical composition of EASL-AE was analyzed using the LC-MS/MS technique. Our findings demonstrate that EASL-AE is biocompatible with Caco-2 cells and non-toxic at experimental levels. Moreover, EASL-AE exhibits a significant protective effect on Caco-2 cells subjected to oxidative damage. The antioxidant effect of EASL-AE involves the scavenging of intracellular ROS, while its anti-inflammatory effect is achieved by down-regulation of the NFκB pathway. Which in turn reduces the release of inflammatory factors TNF-α and IL-1ß. Through LC-MS/MS analysis, we identified 222 compounds in EASL-AE, among which gentianic acid, procaine and L-tyrosine were the compounds with high antioxidant capacity and may be the effective constituent for EASL-AE with antioxidant activity. These results suggest that EASL-AE is a natural and high-quality antioxidant and anti-inflammatory biomaterial that warrants further investigation. It holds great potential for applications in healthcare and other related fields.

Temperature fluctuations affect the performance of high-precision gravitational reference sensors. Due to the limited space and the complex interrelations among sensors, it is not feasible to directly measure the temperatures of sensor heads using temperature sensors. Hence, a high-accuracy interpolation method is essential for reconstructing the surface temperature of sensor heads. In this study, we utilized XGBoost-LSTM for sensor head temperature reconstruction, and we analyzed the performance of this method under two simulation scenarios: ground-based and on-orbit. The findings demonstrate that our method achieves a precision that is two orders of magnitude higher than that of conventional interpolation methods and one order of magnitude higher than that of a BP neural network. Additionally, it exhibits remarkable stability and robustness. The reconstruction accuracy of this method meets the requirements for the key payload temperature control precision specified by the Taiji Program, providing data support for subsequent tasks in thermal noise modeling and subtraction.

Aging is underpinned by pronounced metabolic decline; however, the drivers remain obscure. Here, we report that IgG accumulates during aging, particularly in white adipose tissue (WAT), to impair adipose tissue function and metabolic health. Caloric restriction (CR) decreases IgG accumulation in WAT, whereas replenishing IgG counteracts CR's metabolic benefits. IgG activates macrophages via Ras signaling and consequently induces fibrosis in WAT through the TGF-ß/SMAD pathway. Consistently, B cell null mice are protected from aging-associated WAT fibrosis, inflammation, and insulin resistance, unless exposed to IgG. Conditional ablation of the IgG recycling receptor, neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn), in macrophages prevents IgG accumulation in aging, resulting in prolonged healthspan and lifespan. Further, targeting FcRn by antisense oligonucleotide restores WAT integrity and metabolic health in aged mice. These findings pinpoint IgG as a hidden culprit in aging and enlighten a novel strategy to rejuvenate metabolic health.

Purpose: The typical characteristic of COPD is airway remodeling, affected by environmental and genetic factors. However, genetic studies on COPD have been limited. Currently, the Abhd2 gene is found to play a critical role in maintaining alveolar architecture and stability. The research aims to investigate the predictive value of Abhd2 for airway remodeling in COPD and its effect on TGF-ß regulation. Methods: In humans, Abhd2 protein was obtained from peripheral blood monocytes. Peripheral blood TGF-ß, pulmonary surfactant proteins (SPs), metalloproteinases, inflammatory indicators (WBC, NEU, NLR, EOS, CRP, PCT, D-Dimer), chest CT (airway diameter and airway wall thickness), pulmonary function, and blood gas analysis were used to assess airway remodeling. In animals, Abhd2 deficient mice (Abhd2Gt/Gt) using gene trapping and C57BL6 mice were injected intraperitoneally with CSE to construct COPD models. HE staining, Masson staining and immunohistochemistry were used to observe the pathological changes of airway in mice, and RT-PCR, WB, ELISA and immunofluorescence were used to detect the expression of secreted proteins and EMT markers. Results: COPD patients with worse pulmonary function and higher airway remodeling-related inflammatory factors had lower Abhd2 protein expression. Moreover, indicators followed the same trend for COPD patients grouped by prognosis (Group A vs Group B). Serum TGF-ß was negatively correlated with Abhd2 protein expression, FEV1/FVC, FEV1, and FEV1% PRED. In mice, Abhd2 depletion promoted deposition of TGF-ß, leading to more pronounced emphysema, airway thickening, increased alveolar macrophage infiltration, decreased AECII number and SPs, and EMT phenomenon. Conclusion: Downregulation of Abhd2 can promote airway remodeling in COPD by modulating repair after injury and EMT via TGF-ß. This study suggests that Abhd2 may serve as a biomarker for assessing airway remodeling and guiding prognosis in COPD.

In recent years, with the development of organ preservation, surgical techniques, perioperative management and immunosuppression regimens, the success rate of liver transplantation and survival rate of the recipients have been significantly enhanced. Liver transplantation has become the optimal treatment for patients with end-stage liver disease. However, biliary complications still commonly occur after liver transplantation, especially biliary anastomotic stricture. Severe biliary anastomotic stricture will not only increase the cost of treatment, but also lead to graft loss and even affect the survival rate of recipients. Therefore, timely diagnosis and treatment of biliary anastomotic stricture play a significant role in improving the survival rate of liver transplant recipients. In this article, the risk factors, clinical symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of biliary anastomotic stricture after liver transplantation were reviewed, aiming to provide novel ideas for the research, diagnosis and treatment of biliary anastomotic stricture after liver transplantation, and further enhance clinical efficacy of liver transplantation and the quality of life of recipients.

@#Objective To summarize and analyze the clinical diagnosis, surgical treatment and prognosis of multiple pulmonary nodules (MPNs). Methods The clinical data of lung cancer patients who received surgical treatment in our hospital from 2018 to 2020 were collected. The short-term efficacy of surgical treatment for MPNs was analyzed. Results A total of 97 patients were enrolled, including 30 males and 67 females with an average age of 56.1±10.0 years at onset ill. There were 62 patients with double lesions, 22 patients with three lesions, 4 patients with four lesions, and 9 patients with more than four lesions. A total of 213 lesions were surgically treated, including 88 pure ground-glass nodules, 81 partially solid nodules, and 7 solid nodules. There were 87 simultaneous surgeries and 10 staged surgeries, with an average operation interval of 5.2 months. The pathological combination type included adenocarcinoma-adenocarcinoma in 96 (99.0%) patients, squamous cell carcinoma-squamous cell carcinoma in 1 (1.0%) patient, and no lymph node metastasis was found. The 2-year disease-free survival (DFS) rate was 92.1%, and the overall survival (OS) rate was 100.0%. Univariate analysis showed that high-risk lesion size>2 cm (P=0.316), residual lesions (P=0.782) and pathological combination type (P=0.913) had statistical effect on the 2-year DFS rate. Conclusion MPNs are mainly diagnosed with multiple primary lung cancers, and the pathological combination is mostly adenocarcinoma-adenocarcinoma combination. Imaging examination is of great help to the surgical approach selection, diagnosis and differential diagnosis of MPNs. During the operation, maximal preservation of lung function and complete resection of high-risk nodules should be taken as the principle, and the prognosis is satisfactory.

Objective@#The study aims to explore the neural mechanism of cognitive differences in college students with posttraumatic stress disorder under verbal fluency task based on functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), so as to provide neuroimaging support for the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD).@*Methods@#Posttaumatic Stress Disorder Checklist Combat(PCL-C) was used to screen the subjects, including 21 students in PTSD group (PCL-C≥38) and 30 students in control group from September to Novenber in 2020. A 53 channel near infrared spectroscopy device was used to collect cerebral blood oxygen signals under the verbal fluency task, and correlation analysis, Mann Whitney U test and independent sample t test were performed on the results.@*Results@#The difference in the total average score of PCL-C Scale between PTSD group and the control group(46.38±6.96,25.57±6.09) was statistically significant ( t=11.33, P <0.05). Correlation analysis showed that Avg-HbO in left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe was negatively correlated with PCL-C Score ( r=-0.37, P <0.05). Mann Whitney U test showed that in the left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe (Ch6), the Avg-HbO change in PTSD group [0.19(-0.09, 0.86)mmol/(L〖KG*7〗·mm)] was significantly lower than the control group [0.79( 0.37 , 1.47)mmol/(L ·mm)] ( Z=2.16, P <0.05), which was statistically significant.@*Conclusions@#The degree of PTSD was negatively correlated with the index of oxygenated hemoglobin in the left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe, and the oxygenated hemoglobin content in the PTSD group was lower than that in the normal group. In the future, fNIRS may be used to collect blood oxygen signals from the left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe in cognitive tasks to provide imaging evidence for the identification of PTSD.

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a progressive and fatal disease. The dysfunction of pulmonary artery endothelial cells (PAECs) is one of its important pathogenic factors. PAECs are monolayer flat epithelial cells, which play an important role in maintaining pulmonary vascular homeostasis. Studies have found that PAECs show damage and apoptosis at the early stage of PH development, while PAECs show anti-apoptotic characteristics at the late stage of PH development. The transition of PAECs into mesenchymal cells induced by hypoxic and inflammatory factors is also involved in the pathogenesis of PH. Carcinoid metabolism and mitochondrial dysfunction, bone mor- phogenic type 2 receptor mutation, epigenetic changes and inflammation of PAECs are the main pathogenesis of pulmonary vascular endothelial dysfunction in PH patients. New therapeutic measures targeting PAECs dysfunction are expected to play an important role in the treatment of PH in the future.

Alzheimer' s disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder histologically characterized by the presence of senile plaques and neurofibrillary tangles (NFTs) found in and around pyramidal neurons in cortical tissue. Mounting evidence suggests regional increased iron load and dyshomeostasis have been associated with oxidative stress, oxidation of proteins and lipids, and cell death, and appears to be a risk factor for more rapid cognitive decline, thereby involved in multiple aspects of the pathophysiology of AD. Ferroptosis is a newly identified iron-dependent lipid peroxidation-driven cell death and emerging evidences have demonstrated the involvement of ferroptosis in the pathological process of AD. Notably, some novel compounds targeting ferroptosis can relieve AD-related pathological symptoms in AD cells and animal model and exhibit potential clinical benefits in AD patients. This review systematically summarizes the growing molecular and clinical evidence implicating ferroptosis in the pathogenesis of AD, and then reviews the application of ferroptosis inhibitors in mouse/cell models to provide valuable information for future treatment and prevention of AD.

Emerging evidences suggest that ferroptosis plays a vital role in the pathophysiological process of brain injury after Ischemic stroke. Accumulating evidence supports pharmacological inhibition of ferroptosis as a therapeutic target for brain injury after Ischemic stroke through activating nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2), which transcriptionally controls many key components of the ferroptosis pathway. In this review, briefly describe ferroptosis processes and the roles they play in contributing to brain injury after ischemic stroke in the brain. We then provide a critical overview of the relationship between Nrf2 signalling and ferroptosis. With a focus on discuss how therapeutic modulation of the Nrf2 pathway is a viable strategy to explore in the treatment of ferroptosis-driven brain injury after Ischemic stroke.

RESUMEN

Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) is a kind of central nervous system disease that seriously threatens human health and life. Current treatment for AIS is mainly reperfusion. However, the time-sensitive of reperfusion limits its clinical application, and a considerable part of patients within the time window cannot achieve the expected effect after reperfusion; related complications of reperfusion have not been completely solved. So far, some clinical trials have confirmed that neuroprotectants are useful supplements and adjuncts to reperfusion. This paper reviews the recent advance in neuroprotectants combined with reperfusion in AIS to provide references for AIS treatment.

Objective@#To analyze the key control points of pathogenic microbial contamination during the food processing of school canteens, so as to provide a basis for effectively preventing the occurrence of campus food safety incidents.@*Methods@#In March 2023, 10 school canteens from Zhengzhou City, Henan Province were selected by convenient sampling method. A total of 300 samples were collected from the storage equipment of raw materials, production tools, staff hands, infrastructure, dining utensils and other facilities in the school canteens during the food processing process.The rapid detection method of foodborne pathogens based on isothermal multiple selfmatchinginitiated amplification (IMSA) technology was used to analyze the possible risk of pathogenic microorganism contamination. Fisher exact probability method was applied for the statistical analysis.@*Results@#Among the 300 samples collected, pathogenic microorganisms including Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes were detected in 5 samples, distributed in the food preparation utensils such as cutting boards, operating tables, knives and staff hands, while no pathogenic microorganisms were detected in dining utensils, raw material storage equipment and canteen infrastructure.There was no statistically significant difference between the IMSA rapid detection method and the national standard method for testing Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes(P>0.05). Compared to international method, the positive coincidence of pathogenic microorganism detected by IMSA rapid inspection system was 83.3%(5/6), the negative coincidence was 100%(n=294), and the overall consistency rate was 99.7%.@*Conclusions@#The key control points of pathogenic microbial contamination in the food processing process of school canteens mainly are the utensils in the food production process, such as cutting boards, operating tables, knives and staff hands in the food processing process of the school canteen, which could be accurately identified by the rapid detection method of pathogenic microorganism established based on IMSA technology. The quality and efficiency campus food safety supervision should be promoted to prevent the food safety events in school canteen.

ObjectiveTo investigate the pathogenic spectrum and molecular characteristics of infectious diarrhea among children in Putuo District of Shanghai from 2018 to 2023, and to provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of infectious diarrhea in children. MethodsFecal samples from the cases visited sentinel hospitals for children’s diarrheal disease in Putuo District, Shanghai, were collected from January 2018 to December 2023. A total of 11 species of bacteria were isolated and cultured, and 5 species of viruses were detected by real-time fluorescent polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The molecular typing of some positive strains was analyzed by the standard pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) method. The polymerase-capsid protein linkage region of some norovirus-positive samples was amplified by reverse transcription PCR, and was sequenced and analyzed by bioinformatics software. The Chi-square test and Fisher’s exact probability test were used to compare the pathogen-positive rates in 2018‒2019 and 2020‒2023. ResultsOf the 707 cases of children with infectious diarrhea, the total positive rate was 47.67%, with a single bacterial positivity rate of 16.27%, a single viral positivity rate of 22.63%, and a mixed positivity rate of 8.77%, respectively. The dominant pathogens were rotavirus (10.75%), norovirus (10.33%), enteropathogenic Escherichia coli (8.06%), Salmonella (6.36%), enteroaggregative Escherichia coli (5.52%), and Campylobacter (5.23%). Bacterial infections were predominant in summer and fall, and viral infections were predominant in winter and spring. The total positive rate decreased in 2020‒2023 compared with that of 2018‒2019 (χ2=5.753,P<0.05). Thirty-seven strains of Salmonella, 81 strains of diarrheagenic Escherichia coli, and 19 strains of Campylobacter were completed for the molecular typing analysis by PFGE, which were classified into 28, 80 and 18 banding types, respectively, with a wide range of banding similarity. Nineteen copies of norovirus GⅡ group gene sequences were analyzed and classified into 5 genotypes, which were mainly GⅡ.Pe-GⅡ.4 and GⅡ.P16-GⅡ.2 types. ConclusionRotavirus, norovirus, diarrheagenic Escherichia coli, Salmonella, and Campylobacter are the dominant pathogens of infectious diarrhea in children in Putuo District of Shanghai. The pathogen spectrum shows a trend of seasonal epidemic characteristics, with a diversity of molecular characteristics of some pathogens. Surveillance and monitoring on molecular characteristics of the pathogens of infectious diarrhea in children should be strengthened in different seasons, so as to provide a laboratory basis for the prevention and control of infectious diarrhea.
