RESUMEN

There were studied formation's processes of feathering in chickens and goslings and role of sulphur sulphate in synthesis of keratin's feathers. It is established, that sulphur sulphate sodium is used for synthesis of precursors of keratin's feathers. The including of 35S-sulphate natrii regulates the intensity of feather's growth. The content of sulphur in amino acids containing sulphur in feathers of chickens for period from 1 till 60 days of age is increasing from 6.34 to 94.47 per cent. Fattening in composition of feed the sulphate natrii stimulates by chickens and goslings the intensity of feather's growth and metabolism of sulphur in skin.

RESUMEN

The experiments on pure-strain laying hens of meat direction showed that the mineral supplement consisting of sodium metasilicate, sodium sulfate, sodium bicarbonate and sodium selenite added to the standard feed of PK-1-26 composition improved the biological value of incubation eggs as a results of the increased quantity of glycogen, RNA, total lipids and carotenoids. This promotes and increase in hatchability of chicken by 0.45%.

RESUMEN

In the experiments with 35S-labelled sodium sulfate, sulfate sulfur was found to be used for cysteine synthesis in hens. The 35S label was detected in hen's eggs as well, the subshell membranes possessing the highest specific radioactivity. A dependence of 35S incorporation on the ovule developmental stage was revealed. It was established that a shortage of sulfur-containing amino acids in hens' diet can be partially compensated by sodium sulfate sulfur, which influences the concentration of some metabolites.

RESUMEN

The effect of ultraviolet irradiation on the quantity of soluble proteins in skin and content of SH-groups in them, immunoelectrophoretic, electrophoretic properties and amino acid composition of soluble skin proteins was studied under ultraviolet irradiation of calfs and solutions of those proteins in vitro. Ultraviolet rays are established to affect the total content of soluble proteins and SH-groups under ultraviolet irradiation of the animals and these proteins solutions in vitro, but the character of the obtained changes is different in both cases. The quantity of soluble proteins in the animal skin depends on the irradiation frequency. In the composition of the calf skin soluble proteins 14 proteins were found immunologically similar to the blood serum proteins of these animals. Ultraviolet irradiation of the soluble skin proteins in vivo and in vitro does not affect their amino acid composition.
