RESUMEN

Subcritical butane technology was employed for the separation of abamectin on the fresh tea leaves surface.Under the conditions of solid-liquid ratio of 1∶10 (m/V), the experiment was designed via the response surface methodology and conducted at different temperature, various separation time and discrepant cycle number.Besides, the activity of the polyphenol oxidase (PPO) relating to the quality of the tea was determined and compared. At the same time, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to observe the surface structure of fresh tea leaves before and after treatment, and the effect on physiological characteristics of the leaves by subcritical butane treatment was analyzed. The experimental results showed that the subcritical butane extraction could effectively isolate the abamectin, making the physical structure basically remained and the polyphenol oxidase activity preserved as well.Through the analysis by Design Expert software, the optimal processing parameters of separating abamectin were as follows: 45℃, 30 min, 1 cycle, and solid-liquid ratio of 1∶10 (m/V).Under the optimal conditions, the separation efficiency was over 91% and the relative PPO activity was 25.73%.The structure of fresh tea leaves changed insignificantly before and after the butane processing. This study suggested that the subcritical butane extraction technology could effectively remove pesticide residues in tea, thus provided a certain scientific basis for application of subcritical fluid removal of pesticide residue in natural plants.

RESUMEN

Objective To study on the procedure, safety and effectiveness of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) implant applied to cranioplasty of skull defect. Methods A total of 11 cases (10 male, 1 female) of unilateral skull defect, more than 6 months post operation, were included in this study. PEEK implant was custom-made by three-dimensional numerically controlled processing depended on the data obtained from 1 mm-slice CT scan before cranioplasty individually. Autoclaved implants were applied to cranioplastic surgeries under general anesthesia. Findings of imaging examination and vital signs were compared before and after operation. Vital sign changes and circumstances during procedure were noted, and following-up reviews were performed on 2-week, 3-month and 1 year after operation respectively. Results Wounds healing were uneventful in 11 cases, no postoperative paresthesia presented. Surgical complications including temporary subcutaneous exudates were cleared up by puncture and aspiration in 5 cases, subcutaneous hematoma duo to drainage removal in 1 case, of which an emergency evacuation was performed and the implant was still with instant incision closure and then smooth recovery eventually. No significant abnormal fluctuation of laboratory examination was reported, moreover no artifact interference was found on postoperative CT scan or MR image. The subjective feelings and external sensory effects are satisfactory in patients. No emerging dysfunction of central nervous system or other organs was found, and no long-term complication was appeared. Conclusion It is feasible and safe to apply PEEK implant to cranioplasty without additional operative difficulty. This kind of material is an ideal alternative for repairing skull defect to patients with good financial condition and specific demands for postoperative status especially.

RESUMEN

Autophagy is an important physiological process in eukaryotic cells and is contributive to normal update of cellular components. When the body is in hunger state, autophagy can not only produce amino acid and ATP through degrading proteins to provide conditions for cell survival, but also remove the damaged organelles to maintain the normal functions of cells. The abnormal functions of autophagy are closely related to the formation and development of tumors, and the degree which is too high or too low both can inhibit tumors. It has been found that autophagy is regulated by many kinds of molecules, and the results are different. So in-depth studies on the mechanisms of these autophagy-related molecules will become a starting point for further understanding the autophagy and a sally port for treating tumors.

RESUMEN

The expression of transforming growth factor(TGF)-β supeffamily co-receptor (Tβ3R) Ⅲ is often lost in many kinds of cancers.Tβ3RⅢ plays a role of negative regulation in tumorigenesis.T3RⅢ could regulate the cellular invasion, migration, proliferation and apoptosis by multiple mechanisms, such as mediating the TGF-β signaling pathway, impacting the mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) and Cdc42 and producing soluble TβR(sTβR) Ⅲ.Defining the mechanisms of absence and physiological functions of TβR Ⅲ in cancers has great significant for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of cancer.

RESUMEN

Objective To evaluate the correlation between CYP3A4 enzyme and analgesia with fentanyl after gynecological operation. Methods One hundred and fifty-nine ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients, aged 30-50 yr, scheduled for elective myomectomy or abdominal total hysterectomy, were enrolled in this study. Anesthesia was induced with midazolam, remifentanil, propofol and succinylcholine and maintained with iv infusion of propofol and remifentanil and intermitent iv injection of atracurium. Venous blood samples were obtained for determination of the plasma 1'-hydroxymidazolam and midazolam concentrations at 1 h after iv injection of midazolam. The ratio of the 1'-hydroxymidazolam concentration to the midazolam concentration was used to reflect the effect of CYP3A4 enzyme. Pain was assessed with visual analog scale (VAS) after consciousness was regained. When VAS score > 4,the patients were given fentanyl 10 μg every 5 min until VAS score ≤ 4 and then PCIA with fentanyl was performed. VAS score was maintained ≤4. The times of successful delivery within 24 h after operation and during the period of 24-28 h after operation and fentanyl consumption within 48 h after operation were recorded. Pearson correlation was used to analyze the data. Results There was no correlation between the effect of CYP3 A4 enzyme and the times of successful delivery or fentanyl consumption, and the correlation coefficients were 0.16, 0.13 and 0.11 respectively ( P > 0.05). Conclusion CYP3A4 enzyme is not the major enzyme metabolizing fentanyl.

RESUMEN

The practical synthesis of pseudonucleosides incorporating thiourea derivative by coupling of monosaccharides (D-galactose, D-glucose and D-xylose) per-O-acetylated glycosyl isothiocyanates and different heterocyclic hydrazide derivatives is reported. The method involves the preparation of per-O-acetylated glycosyl isothiocyanates from per-O-acetylated sugars (two-step synthesis), which couple with heterocyclic hydrazides from amines to give thiourea-linked pseudonucleosides. All newly synthesized pseudonucleosides were assayed against human lung cancer-cell lines (PG) and human liver cancer-cell lines (BEL-7402) in vitro. The 2-(4-methoxybenzamide)-benzoimidazole-1-yl-acetyl pseudonucleosides showed moderate inhibition against these two cancer-cell lines with EC(50) from 22.8 to 76.4 microM and from 54.9 to 82.4 microM, respectively. And the other compounds did not demonstrate any significant cytotoxicity even at concentrations up to 200muM.

RESUMEN

A miniaturized capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detector (mini-C(4)D) cell has been designed which is small enough to allow it to slide along the effective capillary length inside the capillary cassette of an Agilent capiillary electrophoresis system (CE) (or other CE brand of similar construction), including the possibility of positioning it close to the point of optical detection (4 cm), or even putting two such detector cells in one cassette. The cell was tested and the performance characteristics (noise, sensitivity, and peak width) were compared with those obtained with the previously used large C(4)D cell. No significant differences were observed. The mini-C(4)D was used in simultaneous separations of common cations and anions where its advantage over a larger C(4)D cell is the ability to vary the point of detection with the mini-C(4)D cell continuously at any point along the capillary length, so that the optimum apparent selectivity can be chosen. Other applications include providing a convenient second point of detection in addition to photometric detection, such as to measure accurately the linear velocity of a zone, or to allow placement of two mini-C(4)D cells in one capillary cassette simultaneously.

RESUMEN

By tracing of ~(75)Se-Na_2SeO_3 incubating and irrigating of the isolated myocardial slices of rats, the numeric relationship between the free selenics in the serum and the serum sdenics, the sodium sdenite doses injected were observed; the absorption of the frce selenics and the serum selenics was compared; the setenics metabolic rate and quantities of the myocardial tissue in different duration after injecting of selcnite, the effect of selenics concentration to the participating were calculated, It is suggested that there is a very close relationship between the free selenics and the selenium metabolism in the myocardium; the ratio betwen the values of the free selenics and the serum selenics may become a stable indicator of the selenium metabolism; the free selenics in the serum may be where the important mediates of selenium metabolism are.
