RESUMEN

ObjectiveTo investigate the association of lipid ratios with diabetes and pre-diabetes in residents aged 35-75 years in Changzhou City. MethodsA multistage whole-group random sampling method was used to survey permanent residents aged 35-75 years in Tianning and Wujin districts of Changzhou City, and the study data were obtained by questionnaires, physical examination and laboratory tests. The relationship between lipid ratios and diabetes and pre-diabetes was analyzed by dichotomous logistic regression method. ResultsThe prevalence of diabetes in the surveyed population in Changzhou was 18.69%, and the prevalence of pre-diabetes was 10.53%. In the total population, the risk of pre-diabetes was significantly increased in the highest TC/HDL-C, TG/HDL-C and LDL-C/HDL-C groups, by 68%, 93% and 38%, respectively; the risk of diabetes was also significantly increased in the highest TC/HDL-C, TG/HDL-C and LDL-C/HDL-C groups, by 105%, 149% and 78%, respectively. The risk of diabetes was also significantly increased in the highest TC/HDL-C, TG/HDL-C and LDL-C/HDL-C groups, by 105%, 149% and 78%, respectively. All three lipid ratios increased in women compared to men, leading to a stronger association with increased risk of diabetes and pre-diabetes. ConclusionLipid ratios TC/HDL-C, TG/HDL-C, and LDL-C/HDL-C were correlated with the risk of diabetes and pre-diabetes in people aged 35-75 years, with TG/HDL-C having the strongest association with diabetes and pre-diabetes, and is expected to be a key predictor for assessing the development of diabetes.

RESUMEN

Objective:To investigate how medical staff recognize and understand the nursing quality evaluation in robot-assisted arthroplasty so as to provide reference and evidence for construction of a nursing quality evaluation system for robot-assisted arthroplasty. Methods:The descriptive phenomenological research method was used for this qualitative research. From May to October, 2021, 6 doctors and 9 nurses from Operating Room, Laoshan Campus, Hospital Affiliated to Qingdao University were interviewed in a semi-structured way about the nursing quality evaluation for robot-assisted arthroplasty. The data were sorted out by Nvivo12.0 qualitative analysis software, and the interview data were analyzed while the themes and topics refined according to the Colaizzi seven-step analysis of phenomenological data. Results:Three themes were extracted. ① The first theme was related to the quality evaluation of nursing structure, including 2 topics: nursing staff allocation and nursing quality management in operating room. ② The second theme was related to the quality evaluation of nursing process, including 4 topics: environment and facilities, nosocomial infection control, management of patients' operative safety, and specialized operative nursing. ③ The third theme was related to the quality evaluation of nursing outcomes, including 3 topics: satisfaction for operating room nursing, incidence of adverse events and patients' benefits. Conclusion:The themes and topics for nursing quality evaluation in robot-assisted arthroplasty extracted from the perspective of medical staff can provide reference for construction of a reasonable, scientific, efficient and comprehensive nursing quality evaluation index system.

RESUMEN

Objective:To explore the relationship between the expression of solute carrier family 24 member 5(SLC24A5) and skin melanoma (SKCM) cell proliferation and invasion, and to explore the possibility of SLC24A5 as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target of SKCM.Methods:The bioinformatics method was used to collect relevant information, and then the MEL-526 and SK-HEL-5 melanoma cell models of knockdown SLC24A5 were established. The knockdown efficiency wasverified by Western blot and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) experiments, and the cell proliferation and invasion of the SKCM cells after knockdown of SLC24A5 were detected. Results:The expression of SLC24A5 in SKCM tissue was significantly higher than that in normal tissues adjacent to cancer. Patients who highly expressed SLC24A5 had a worse prognosis. After knocking down SLC24A5, the proliferation of MEL-526 and SK-HEL-5 cells was inhibited.Conclusions:SLC24A5 plays an important role in the progress of SKCM and has the potential to become a therapeutic target and biomarker of SKCM.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of primary hyperparathyroidism ( PHPT) initially with urinary calculus .Methods The clinical data of 26 patients who diagnosed as PHPT ini-tially with urinary calculus were retrospectively reviewed .Results There were 22 cases with bilateral urinary calculus and 4 cases with unilateral relapsed urinary calculus .Ultrasonography , CT and radionuclide were helpful to determine the location of the neoplasia .24 cases underwent percutaneous nephroscope or ureteroscopy pneu-matic ballistic lithotripsy , 2 cases discharged ureteral calculi by themselves .All patients were performed surgical treatment of PHPT , which was confirmed by intraoperative frozen pathology and postoperative pathological exami -nation.There was great improvement of clinical symptoms after surgical procedures .The preoperative serum calci-um, urine calcium and parathyroid hormone elevated , while serum phosphate decreased .The postoperative indi-cators were just the opposite .The difference had statistical significance ( P<0.05 ) .Conclusions Laboratory investigations and imaging studies are very important to diagnose PHPT initially with urinary calculus .The para-thyroid surgery can remarkably reduce the calculus recurrence and improve renal function .
