RESUMO

Results of the studies carried out in 2009-2012 on the 137Cs content in edible fungi, berries and fruits of wild-growing bushes and the low shrubs growing in forest ecosystems of a number of regions of the Perm Krai are presented. It is shown that the activity of radio caesium in the studied samples does not exceed the maximal allowed levels approved in the Russian Federation.

RESUMO

The study sampling included 46 patients operated on the occasion of acute surgical pathology of abdominal organs. The concentration of procalcitonin was analyzed at 2-3 days after operation in simultaneously obtained samples of blood serum and exudation of small intestine. The level of procalcitonin was analyzed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay with test-systems with sensitivity 0.01 ng/ml. The concentration of procalcitonin in content of small intestine was lower than in blood serum (p<0.001) and in most samples of enteric exudation (n=33) did not exceed 0.01 ng/ml. The analysis of correlation interdependences established that concentration of procalcitonin in intestinal exudation has no dependencies with its level in blood serum. The admixture of blood as a result of traumatization of mucous membrane under application of naso-jejunal probe is one of main causes of occurrence of procalcitonin in content of intestine.

RESUMO

A three-fold increased level of malonic dialdehyde was found in platelets of patients suffering from the first stage of vibration disease, exposed to local vibration. The changes of the fermentative and nonfermentative lipid peroxidation (LPO) were: increased accumulation of malonic dialdehyde (by 2.5 times in ascorbate-dependent LPO and by 2.6 times in NADRH-dependent LPO). Patients with peripheral vasomotor dystonia of the upper limbs combined with vasomotor spasms of the fingers showed NADPH-dependent and ascorbate-dependent LPO respectively 41% and 29% more activated than in patients having no vasomotor spasms. In patient with vibration disease antioxidant activity was reduced by 39% on average, platelet aggregation, both spontaneous and induced by epinephrine, aggristine or adenosinediphosphoric acid, was increased. Platelet hyperaggregation in vibration disease may be caused by stimulated LPO in platelets, amassed end toxic product of LPO, decreased antioxidant activity.

RESUMO

Activity of key enzymes of pentosephosphate pathway glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) and transketolase was similar in extracts of thymus and mesenteric lymphatic ganglia. Within four weeks after dissection of vagus nerve at the level of thyroid gland the specific activity of G6PD and the total activity of the enzymes metabolizing ribose-5-phosphate were not altered in the tissue studied. The transketolase activity was inhibited in thymus tissue and lymphoid cells after right-side vagotomy. The pH-dependence of the transketolase reaction was studied in thymus extracts. After vagotomy the enzymatic activity was lower at all the pH values as compared with controls; the enzyme optimum activity was found at pH 7.5-7.8.

RESUMO

Each of three methods of the innervation disturbance-section of subphrenic vagus nerves and nerves of hepathogastro-duodenal connection; the section of the right and left vagus at the level of the thyroid gland is accompanied by a considerable increase in the serotonin content. Three four weeks after the operation in rises in the myocardium by 60, 52, 56% and in the liver tissue-by 85, 68, 35%, respectively. The level of histamine is not changed essentially, but there is a tendency to its increase in the liver and to a decrease in the myocardium. The histamine and serotonin content in blood of the same rats lowers considerably.

RESUMO

Experiments with rabbit platelets in vitro revealed differences in the effect of the aggregation inducers (ADP and thrombin) and the aggregation inhibitor cyclic AMP on the activity of the enzymes of pentosephosphate pathway of glucose oxidation. ADP and thrombin decrease significantly the activity of glucoso-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6-PDH) and riboso-5-phosphate-metabolizing enzymes (R-5-PME) in platelets during aggregation, whereas cyclic AMP produces no appreciable effect on the G-6-PDH activity, but increases significantly the R-5-PME activity. ADP decreases and cyclic AMP raises substantially the activity of R-5-PME. The differences were also revealed in the effects produced by cyclic AMP and cyclic GMP on the enzymes of pentosephosphate pathway of glucose oxidation. Unlike cyclic AMP, cyclic GMP decreased significantly the activity of G-6-PDH. The activity of R-5-PME and cyclic GMP transketolase was more pronounced than that of cyclic AMP. Like cyclic AMP, cyclic GMP differs from ADP and thrombin in the action produced on the enzymes of pentosephosphate pathway of glucose oxidation.

RESUMO

Partial denervation of the liver evoked the dissection of subphrenic vagus nerves and nerves of the hepatogastric duodenal ligament tissue stimulates synthesis of pentoses in the liver due to the oxidative mechanism and inhibits the process of unoxidative formation of pentoses. Three-four weeks after the operation one may observe a 72% increase in the activity of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase in the liver tissue and a 29 and 21% drop in the activity of transketolase and enzymes, respectively, participating in metabolism of ribose-5-phosphate. The content of soluble proteins in the liver with deneravation is unchanged. A correlation is observed between these changes and those in the content of nucleic acids, an opinion is confirmed on the autonomous character of the oxidative and unoxidative phases of the pentose cycle.

RESUMO

It is established that liver denervation is accompanied with a significant increase of DNA content on the 10, 20 and 30th day after operation: 19, 22 and 25%, respectively. The 12% rise on the average in RNA content is observed on the 10th day. This level is preserved during the following days after denervation. The changes in the content of free adenine nucleotides are contrary. The decrease in ATP quantity, which is insignificant on the 10th day, makes progress and reaches 20% on the 20th day. The decrease in ADP is 13%, the content of AMP remains practically unchanged. The obtained data evidence for the participation of the nervous system in maintaining the normal level of poly- and mononucleotides, specific for the liver.
