RESUMO

After 3-days fasting the specific activity of neutral peptide-hydrolases decreased in the homogenate and nuclear fractions and increased in the mitochondrial and soluble ones. After 5-7-days fasting the above peculiarity persisted. Under the diet recovery specific enzyme activity was recovered up to the control level on the 30th day only. The obtained data prove an intensive renewal of the neutral and acid proteins in the subcellular hypothalamic structures depending on different levels of feeding motivation. This increased functional activity of proteinases is aimed at providing for informational and intracellular processes comprising energetic and structural plasticity of the neuronal organizations of the hypothalamic functional feeding system.

RESUMO

Light, electron microscopy and cytospectrophatometry were used to study the level of acetylcholinesterase and monoamine oxidase in the hypothalamus nuclei during different periods of water deprivation in white rats. It was demonstrated that depending upon the time of deprivation, there is a successive triggering of the cholino- adrenoreactive systems in the hypothalamus. However, the main role in the perception of water deprivation in the triggering of the regulatory mechanisms is played by the cholinergic mediator system in the lateral preoptic area, lateral and supraoptical nuclei of the hypothalamus.

RESUMO

The electroretinogram oscillatory potentials have similar general configuration and frequencies. Under the conditions of experimental dystropia of the retina and also after glycine administration, suppression of the oscillatory potentials formation in retina is accompanied by suppression of the evoked responses formation in the LGB, superior colliculi, visual cortex, and chiasma. The oscillatory potentials in the cerebral structures are related to the primary complex of their evoked responses. The importance of using the oscillatory potentials to study the mechanism of influence of the visual stimuli on the evoked potentials, is discussed.
