RESUMO

Due to the high sugar content of Mopan persimmon, which has an annual output of more than 0.5 million tons in China, it can be processed to make fruit wine. In this study, a strain of yeast screened from different persimmon samples was used for persimmon wine fermentation. The optimal conditions of persimmon wine fermentation were determined through single-factor experiments as follows: Yeast addition of 0.08 g/kg; a fermentation temperature of 28 °C; sucrose addition of 18%; and pectinase addition of 0.01%. Under these conditions, the alcohol content of persimmon wine reached 12.9%. The addition of pectinase during persimmon wine fermentation was found to decompose pectin at high speed, reduce the viscosity of the fermentation liquid, increase the dissolved oxygen content in the fermentation liquid, promote the growth and reproduction of yeast, and effectively convert the sugars into alcohol. After fermentation, alcohol, residual sugars, and total phenolic content with or without pectinase treatment were 12.9 and 4.4%, 2.2 and 13.4 g/L, and 738.7 and 302 µg/mL, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) results showed that compared with the mash without pectinase treatment, the mash with pectinase had a larger network structure and more pores and yeasts.

RESUMO

Using first-principles calculations, we studied the electronic properties of graphdiyne (GDY) nanosheet and its Si-doped counterpart, SiGDY. Both GDY and SiGDY sheet surfaces were examined for acetaminophen (AP) drug adsorption using adsorption energy, charge transfer, and change in electrical conductivity (as indicators). As shown in this study, pure GDY has little affinity for AP. In specific, only 7.83 percent of the GDY surface's bandwidth energy changed after AP adsorption. On SiGDY, AP has a gaseous energy value of - 18.75 kcal/mol, as well as an aqueous energy value of - 49.39 kcal/mol. The water-phase solubility of the prescribed medications is determined using their solvation energy value. These charges are transferred between AP and the SiGDY sheet, which is extremely positively charged, giving AP the necessary binding energy. After AP adsorption, the electrical conductivity of SiGDY was increased by approximately 19.01 percent.

RESUMO

In order to comprehensively analyze the antioxidant substances in sour jujube, total phenolic content (TPC) and total flavonoids contents (TFC) in different organs, including stem, leaf, flower, fruit pulp, and seed were analyzed for their contents and antioxidant activities. The results showed that leaves possessed significantly higher TPC and TFC (20.4 and 20.5 mg/g, respectively) than the other organs and have the highest antioxidant activity, which were also higher than the wild blueberry (A well-known for its high TPC). Subsequently, the variations in the antioxidant content and antioxidant activity of leaves were analyzed during leaf development. TPC in leaves sampled in may and august were significantly higher than that in other months, while the highest one was found in may. The n-hexane, ethyl acetate, n-butanol, and water fractions obtained from the main methanol extract of sour jujube leaves were evaluated for TPC and TFC and their antioxidant activity and it was found that ethyl acetate fraction displayed the highest TPC and TFC (184.5 and 193.3 mg/g, respectively), as well as the best antioxidant activity. In addition, using LC-MS and HPLC, ethyl acetate fraction was analyzed from qualitative and quantitative aspects; 31-one phenolic compounds, including catechin (33.0 mg/g), epigallocatechin (15.3 mg/g), quercetin 3-O-glucoside (11.4 mg/g), naringenin (6.7 mg/g), esculetin (4.8 mg/g), and chlorogenic acid (4.6 mg/g) were identified. Catechin, esculetin, epigallocatechin, chlorogenic acid, quercetin 3-O-glucoside, and naringenin exhibited high antioxidant activity. These results provide a theoretical basis for further study and utilization of flavonoid and polyphenols in sour jujube.

RESUMO

With the development of antibacterial, synergistic, and drug resistance research, the requirements for the specificity of antibiotics are getting higher and higher. In the research based on the specificity of antibiotics, this article uses intelligent medical image processing methods to study the specificity of the antibacterial efficiency of nanocopper oxide and the inhibition of drug resistance. Copper oxide nanorods have the properties of surface effect, quantum size effect, volume effect, and macroscopic quantum tunneling effect. Compared with ordinary copper oxide, the nanoscale gives them special properties of electricity, optics, and catalysis. In this article, in the research based on the specificity of antibiotics, the specificity of antimicrobial efficiency and drug resistance inhibition of nanocopper oxide are studied by using smart medical information processing methods. Drug sensitivity paper tablet method is a drug sensitivity experiment to determine drug sensitivity to make accurate and effective use of drugs for treatment. Colony growth method is used to take the equivalent volume of fermentation liquid at different times to determine the content of bacteria. In this article, Staphylococcus aureus is cultivated by the drug-sensitive disk method and the colony growth method. Then, according to this type of antibiotic and bacterial group combination, Staphylococcus aureus is divided into a penicillin group, nanocopper oxide group, and cephalosporin group. 0.5 g of the corresponding antibiotic was added to each group. TMP (trimethoprim) acts as a synergist, and the ratio of TMP to antibiotic is 1 : 5. Finally, we compared the inhibitory concentration indexes of the above three groups and inferred the synergistic effect of antibiotics and the inhibitory effect of drug resistance through the specificity of the antibiotics that the antibacterial activity was further studied. The results showed that the antibacterial effect of TMP combined with nano-CuO was 38% higher than that of the penicillin group and 41% higher than that of the cephalosporin group. In addition, the combined effect of TMP and antibiotics is greater than the combined effect of TMP and antibiotics alone. From the observation of smart medical system processing, it is speculated that the reason may be that they provide each other with a suitable environment. Because of this combined effect between the TMP and the antibiotic, it can influence each other. From the results, the combined effect is 48% higher than the combined effect. Therefore, according to the results of medical imaging, the combination of antibiotics and antibacterial synergists can improve specificity and antibacterial rate.

RESUMO

The effect of extra-cellular polymeric substances (EPS) on filtration of polyvinyl alcohol modified polypropylene non-woven in submerged membrane bioreactor (SMBR) was investigated by statistical method. The results show that soluble extra-cellular polymeric substances (EPSs) of activated sludge on the non-woven modules surface, components (protein/carbohydrate, P/C) of EPSs and relative hydrophobicity (RH) have a significant influence on filtration performance of module B, the Pearson's correlation coefficient (r(p)) related to membrane fouling resistance are 0.868, 0.840, 0.890, respectively. Modified module can effectively restrict the adsorption of EPSs, can reduce the ratio of P/C in EPSs and can decrease the accumulation of activated sludge. After hydrophilic modification of non-woven, the filtration performance is improved obviously and the un-fouling performance is increased.
