RESUMO

In 1990-1999 years osteosynthesis of the hip bone was performed in 500 injured persons with combined trauma. In 63.1% patients the plates were used, in 19.6%--pivots, in 17.3%--apparatuses of external fixation. The choice of the method and optimal terms of performance of the surgical stabilization procedure of fracture were determined by the trauma severity in accordance with anatomo-functional model. In 12-18 months after the operation 198 patients were examined. Good result was noted in 79.6% of patients, satisfactory--in 17.3%, bad--in 3.1%.

RESUMO

In the article are presented the results of surgical treatment of 176 patients with associated craniocerebral injury. To the primary osteosynthesis in the first post-hospital day have been subjected 75 patients and to the postponed osteosynthesis--101 patient. For osteosynthesis there have been applied the methods of stable-functional osteosynthesis by plates (57.3%), by means of the external fixation apparatus (19.8%), by rods (10.8%) and by other means. The experience of the primary osteosynthesis, including the experience of simultaneous operation on 2-3 segments with application of the atraumatic technique, indicates that the operation doesn't aggravate the severity of injury but ensures more quick rehabilitation of the patients with craniocerebral injury, guarantees the complete restoration of function during 1-2 post-operative months.

RESUMO

The article deals with experience in the surgical treatment of 405 patients with closed and open fractures of the femur. The method of choice in operative management of fractures was stably-functional osteosynthesis--mechanically secure fixation providing the possibility of excluding immobilization in the postoperative period. Stable fixation and early activity promoted timely consolidation of the fractures with simultaneous restoration of a normal range of movements and reduction of the terms of treatment due to coincidence of the periods of consolidation and rehabilitation. Depending on the level and character of the fractures, straight, angular, and hooked plates, Kuntscher's and Smith-Petersen nails, and spongy ++ screws were used for stably-functional osteosynthesis.
