RESUMO

Essential oils are natural compounds extracted from plants that are volatile and sensitive to heat. Due to their therapeutic value, essential oils are now used in many industries, including the sanitary, cosmetic, agricultural, food, and pharmaceutical industries. These are complex mixtures of a wide range of volatile molecules, including phenol-derived aliphatic and aromatic compounds and terpenoids. Essential oils have been used medicinally since ancient times for their antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antiparasitic, insecticidal, sedative, antiinflammatory, and anaesthetic properties. However, essential oils come with inherent limitations; thus, nanoencapsulation is advocated as a remedy as it has the potential to enhance the stability, solubility, and effectiveness of formulations based on essential oils, all while preserving the therapeutic drug blood levels. It is not always viable to use essential oils independently in treatment due to several restrictions; however, nanodelivery technologies appear capable of overcoming these challenges. The therapeutic efficacy that is achieved can be affected by several factors, including the selection of the essential oil as well as the system of nanodelivery. Today, nanoencapsulation is capable of enabling the simultaneous delivery of multiple oils, providing synergistic effects, and facilitating the development of combinational therapies. Additionally, they may have potential applications in preserving food to prolong the shelf life of quickspoiling items and their fragrances. While there is already much research on the characterisation of EOs, this review evaluates the features of the nanoparticles employed for the delivery of essential oils and their impact on the functionality of nano-delivered essential oils and their beneficial uses.

Microplastics pollution is killing human life, contaminating our oceans, and lasting for longer in the environment than it is used. Microplastics have contaminated the geochemistry and turned the water system into trash barrel. Its detection in water is easy in comparison to soil and air so the attention of researchers is focused on it for now. Being very small in size, microplastics can easily cross the water filtration system and end up in the ocean or lakes and become the prospective challenge to aquatic life. This review piece provides the hot research theme and current advances in the field of microplastics and their eradication through the virtual world of artificial intelligence (AI) because Microplastics have confrontation with clean water tactics.

Nature is full of a bundle of medicinal substances and its product perceived as a prerogative structure to collaborate with protein drug targets. The natural product's (NPs) structure heterogeneity and eccentric characteristics inspired scientists to work on natural product-inspired medicine. To gear NP drug-finding artificial intelligence (AI) to confront and excavate unexplored opportunities. Natural product-inspired drug discoveries based on AI to act as an innovative tool for molecular design and lead discovery. Various models of machine learning produce quickly synthesizable mimetics of the natural products templates. The invention of novel natural products mimetics by computer-assisted technology provides a feasible strategy to get the natural product with defined bio-activities. AI's hit rate makes its high importance by improving trail patterns such as dose selection, trail life span, efficacy parameters, and biomarkers. Along these lines, AI methods can be a successful tool in a targeted way to formulate advanced medicinal applications for natural products. RESUMO

A sustainable ceramic membrane embedded with silver has been developed using quartz, kaolin and calcium carbonate. All the chemicals involved in this process were commonly available, non-toxic and cheap. The process was very simple, convenient and does not involve any wastage of water. Decoration of silver particles onto the porous ceramic membrane with the help of APTES as a connecting molecule leads to the formation of a durable material having strong antibacterial capacity. The fabricated membrane holds wide pore morphology with pore size of 4.4 µm and average porosity of 19.5% with an estimated cost of fabrication of about 60 dollar/m2. The membrane was found capable in reducing the TDS, BOD and COD of water samples that confirms that it is efficient for water treatment applications.

Plant-based medicine actually restores the balance in the body instead of treating the source of the disease. The strain of coronavirus (SAR-CoV-2) going to be more serious due to the lack of a reliable treatment option. Holistic treatment for this disease is in the form of Ayurveda as traditional medicine. As the infection of coronavirus is spreading like a wildfire, so the one way to fight is 'immunity'. Building immunity is the only way to stay safe and healthy and prepared themselves for the ongoing pandemic. In the current scenario, good immunity safeguard us from disease progression and prevention from this deadly virus. Giloy herb came into the limelight after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic due to its immunomodulatory and antiviral activity. As the transmission of novel corona virus (COVID-19) increases rapidly, the whole world adopted the curfew/lockdown activity with restriction of human mobility. The imposition of quarantine stopped all the commercial activity that greatly affects the various important environmental parameters which directly connected to human health. As all the types of social, economic, industrial and urbanization activity suddenly shut off, nature takes the advantages and showed improvement in the quality of air, cleaner rivers, less noise pollution, undisturbed and calm wildlife. This research aims to discuss the COVID-19 effect on the global environment. The outcome of this research says that "Although coronavirus vaccine is not available coronavirus itself is earth's vaccine and us humans are the virus".

RESUMO

Correction of Class II malocclusion by distalization of maxillary molars with intraoral appliances is a non-extraction treatment approach, which has been described as an alternative to Head Gear. From the past few years, the procedures have undergone rectification to achieve treatment objective more precisely. This has been made possible by a better understanding of bone physiology, tooth movement, biomechanics and newer biomaterials. Nowadays newer distalizing appliances, like the Jones Jig, Lokar distalizer and Carrière distalizer, have been developed which have compact designs and cause minimal discomfort to the patient. Refinement in these appliances is concentrated mainly on achieving bodily movement of the molar rather than simple tipping. These appliances are also operator friendly as these are easy to insert and remove. The present case series presents the efficacy of these appliances in Class II malocclusion patients with a mean age of 16 years (age range of 15-17 years) that reported with the chief complaint of irregular upper front teeth, since non-extraction approach in correcting Class II malocclusion is gaining a lot of attention.
