Laboratory and clinical studies were performed to evaluate the accuracy of common dental radiographic techniques for root canal status assessment before and during endodontic treatment. Cone beam tomography data were used as a reference to assess the possibility of obtaining objective radiographic information on various stages of endodontic treatment.
