RESUMO
We present a methodology for the finite-element discretization of nanoscaled semiconductor devices with atomic resolution. The meshing strategy is based on the use of patterns to decompose the unit cell of the underlying crystallographic structures producing unstructured tetrahedral meshes. The unit cells of the bulk semiconductors and, more importantly, of the interfaces between the substrate and the gate dielectric have been extracted from classical molecular dynamics and density functional theory simulations. A Monte Carlo approach has been then used to place the dopants in nodes of the crystal, replacing silicon atoms. The thus created "atomistic" meshes are used to simulate an ensemble of microscopically different double-gate Si metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors and the transition region at the Si/SiO_{2} interface. In addition, a methodology to approximate amorphous dielectrics is also presented.
RESUMO
Several newly studied species of the Scrophulariaceae, Lamiaceae, and Ranunculaceae spread in Bulgaria have been analyzed for their surface flavonoid profiles. Except Pulsatilla montana (Hope) Rchb. (Ranunculaceae) all taxa now studied accumulated mainly apigenin, luteolin, and it's derivatives. This is the first report for the presence on external flavonoid aglycones in genus Pulsatilla. Quercetin-3'-methyl ether is a new citation for P. montana. The presence on surface flavonoid aglycones in species Veronica bellidioides L., V. persica Poir., Odontites verna (Bell.) Dum., Laminiastrum galeobdolon Heist ex Fabr., Glechoma herbaceae L., Ajuga genevensis L., and A. reptans L. are reported for the first time too.

In a survey of the literature the authors discuss the problem of double-barreled colostomy closure, which a remains controversial. The high percentage of postoperative complications--up to 50 per cent and mortality up to 2.1 per cent are responsible for nondetermination of the method of choice, depending on the type of colostomy, of the colostomy complications and the absence of indications for choice of the time of colostomy closure.

The authors review the literature on the importance of splenectomy in hematologic diseases, its indications, contraindications and complications. Classification of diseases of definite importance in surgical hematology, for which splenectomy is considered, is presented.
