Através de figuras de heroínas clássicas o autor analisa diferentes destinos da feminilidade. A figura da amazona, a guerreira, responde ao que Freud chama o complexo de masculinidade. Andrômaca é a figura feminina da ligação eterna ao objeto, da dor sem saída, cativa do mundo da sombra. O amor de Penélope, por sua vez, se faz como sustentação da ausência, constitui uma condição anacrônica que permite que o outro advenha. O leito partilhado com Penélope inscreve-se como marca a traçar uma via diferente para Ulisses entre os heróis homéricos.

Considering figures of classical heroines as models the author analyses different destinies of femininity. The figure of the Amazon, as a warrior model, corresponds to what Freud called masculinity complex. Andromaque is a model for the feminine figure of the eternal link to the object, of endless pain, prisoner to a world of shadows. While Penelope’s love is constructed through the ability to sustain absence, it creates an anachronistic condition that permits the other to appear. Tremores / Trembling

O tremor é uma figura que privilegio para pensar o método analítico. Deveria dizer tremores, para assim desdobrar seus múltiplos sentidos: por um lado, o tremor é inerente às formações do inconsciente e, em particular, à situação transferencial explorada a partir de uma de suas qualidades mais misteriosas, o deslocamento temporal. Por outro lado, o método analítico convoca uma espécie de tremor – através da associação livre, da atenção flutuante – que permite distender a trama psíquica e obter assim a emergência dos mapas de Roma. Exploraremos essas pistas com a ajuda – entre outras coisas – de um bestiário inexplorado. (AU)

Trembling is how I prefer thinking figuratively the analytical method. Perhaps I should say tremors expanding its multiple meanings: on one side, tremor is inherent to unconscious formations and especially to the transferential situation, where it can be explored in one of its most mysterious particularities, the temporary dislocation. On the other hand, the analytical method summons a kind of trembling inherent to free association and floating attention, which opens up the psyche and creates the possibility of the emergence of the Roman plans. We will explore these tracks in part with the help of an unexpected bestiary. (AU)
