Notes on plant bugs (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Miridae) from Madagascar with a description of new species of the cylapine tribe Fulviini and checklist of Madagascan mirids.

A new species of Fulvius StlF. attenboroughi sp. nov.is diagnosed and described. Schmitzofulvius bigibber Gorczyca, 1998 is redescribed. Photographic images of habitus and genital structures, as well as scanning electron micrographs of selected structures of both species, are provided. Fulvius kerzhneri Gorczyca, 2000 is diagnosed. New records of a few plant bugs species (Collaria elsae Matocq, 2021, C. cf improvisa Reuter, 1893, F. kerzhneri, Linnavuoricoris madagascariensis Chrot, 2013, Malagasycoelum dracula Kim & Jung, 2020 and S. bigibber) from Madagascar and the checklist of Madagascan Miridae are also presented.

Pselaphinae of the Cameroon Volcanic Line. Part 3. A new genus of Goniacerini (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Goniaceritae) from Mount Cameroon.

The new genus and species, Ewoma longiscapa gen. et sp. nov. of the pselaphine tribe Goniacerini based on specimens collected on Mount Cameroon are described and illustrated. The taxonomic position of the new genus within the tribe Goniacerini is discussed. The list of all genera of Goniacerini of sub-Saharan continental Africa with the number of species and the distribution as well as the list of all species known from Western Africa are given. The short overview of our knowledge of studies of the Pselaphinae of the sub-Saharan continental Africa is also provided.

A taxonomic revision of the myrmecophilous genus Lomechusoides Tottenham, 1939 (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Aleocharinae). Part II. The revision of the strumosus species group.

The Lomechusoides strumosus species group is revised and fifteen new species are described: Lomechusoides chekanovskiyi Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. dlabolai Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. drobovi Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. dudkorum Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. fallax Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. folgaricus Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. inflatiformis Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. poppiusi Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. primoricus Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. przewalskyi Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. reitteri Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. richteri Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. rossii Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; L. zerchei Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov.; and L. zeyai Jszay, Hlav & Baa sp. nov. Lomechusoides strumosus caucasicus (Wasmann, 1896) is synonymized with L. teres (Eppelsheim, 1884), new synonymy. The synonymy of L. mariae (Palm, 1949) with L. inflatus (Zetterstedt, 1828) is confirmed. Lomechusoides siculus (Fiori, 1914) new status, previously L. strumosus siculus, is elevated to species level. All previously known species: L. inflatus (Zetterstedt, 1828), L. mongolicus (Wasmann, 1897), L. penicillatus Assing, 2015, L. sibiricus (Motschulskyi, 1844), L. siculus (Fiori, 1914), L. strumosus (Fabricius, 1792), L. teres (Eppelsheim, 1884) and L. wellenii (Palm, 1949) are redescribed and illustrated, and a key as well as a catalogue for all species are provided.

Three new species of Afropselaphus Jeannel, 1950 (Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae) from Greece and a redescription of Pselaphogenius treskanus (Karaman, 1940).

Three new species of the genus Afropselaphus Jeannel, 1950, Afropselaphus taygetensis sp. n., Afropselaphus tymficus sp. n. and Afropselaphus euboicus sp. n. are described and illustrated. Pselaphogenius treskanus (Karaman, 1940) is redescribed and new data of its distribution are provided.

Diastatotropis arofaniana sp. nov. from eastern Madagascar, a new species close to D. rubra Frieser, with a redescription of the type of the latter, and notes on morphology (Coleoptera: Anthribidae).

Diastatotropis arofaniana Trzna Baa sp. nov. (Anthribidae: Anthribinae: incertae sedis) is described as new from eastern Madagascar. Male and female genitalia are studied and illustrated, and colour photographs are provided. The new species is morphologically similar to D. rubra Frieser, 1992. A redescription of the female holotype of D. rubra, with the first illustrations of its habitus and genitalia are presented. Ecological notes, including colour photographs of the habitat of the new species, are provided. The curculionid type of hemisternites without toothed plates found in Diastatotropis is also discussed.

A new cavernicolous assassin bug from the Canary Islands (Hemiptera: Reduviidae: Emesinae: Collartidini).

The Canary Archipelago is home to two species of obligately cavernicolous assassin bugs of the genus Collartida Villiers, 1949 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Reduviidae: Emesinae: Collartidini). These species are highly adapted for cave life, being blind and wingless. In the present study, we describe a new species of the genus, C. phantasma sp. nov. from the Federica mine in Gran Canaria. C. phantasma sp. nov. differs from the other two Collartida species found in the Canary Archipelago in that the male is fully winged, the female is wingless, and both sexes have well-developed eyes. We provide information regarding the new species habitat, its taxonomic affinities, and its ability to fly.

Review of the genus Merarius Fairmaire (Coleoptera: Anthribidae), with description of two new species from China.

The genus Merarius (Anthribidae: Anthribinae: Tropiderini) from the Oriental and Palaearctic regions is reviewed. Two new species, M. alexandrae Trzna Baa sp. nov. and M. korinae Trzna Baa sp. nov., from China are described. Male and female genitalia of M. korinae are studied and illustrated. A key to the now five known species of the genus, colour photographs and new data on distributions are provided.

Endogean and cavernicolous Coleoptera of the Balkans. XXIV. Amauropini (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae) from the collection of the Moravian Museum in Brno.

The status of Amauropus lobipes Reitter, 1918 and Protamaurops bicarinata (Reitter, 1918) is confirmed based on the holotypes housed at the Moravian Museum in Brno, Czech Republic. Both species are redescribed, photographed, and the aedeagus of Amauropus lobipes is illustrated. A checklist of Amauropini species in the Moravian Museum is given.

Description of a new genus and species, Portentus marschneri (Coleoptera: Anthribidae), from Penang National Park, Malaysia.

A new genus and species, Portentus marschneri Trzna Baa gen. nov. sp. nov. (Anthribidae: Anthribinae: Phloeophilini), from Penang National Park, Malaysia is described. Male genitalia are studied and illustrated and colour photographs are provided. A key is provided to distinguish Portentus from similar Palaearctic and Oriental genera of the tribe Phloeophilini: Phloeophilus Schoenherr, 1833, Bothrus Wolfrum, 1956, and Morimotanthribus Senoh Trzna, 2006.
