[Phospholipids in albino rat blood and liver at various stages in the development of experimental pancreatitis]. / Fosfolipidy krovi i pecheni belykh krys na razlichnykh étapakh razvitiia éksperimental'nogo pankreatita

In experimental pancreatitis in rats there was revealed a marked reduction, particularly on the 3rd-7th day of the disease, of neutral phospholipids in the blood plasma and formed elements. With the development of pancreatitis no polyglycerophospholipids (an important fraction of acid phospholipids participating in the formation of the oxidative enzymatic systems) were revealed in the liver. The described phenomena are regarded as significant pathogenetic factors leading to the development of fatty infiltration of the liver in pancreatitis.
