The abundance and the distribution of Dactylogyrus extensus and Ichthyophthirius multifiliis on gills of two-years old carps have been investigated. It has been established that at least there are five groups, which differs from each other on the asymmetry of infection.

The levels of isohemagglutinins, isohemolysins, heterohemagglutinins and lysozyme in blood serum of one and half year old carps have been fixed after scales transplantation. Since three weeks after grafting isohemagglutinins and isohemolysins were revealed in recipient fishes with the prevalence of 25% and 95% respectively. Intact carps from the same group were lack of these antibodies. Recipient and intact fishes did not differ reliably by heterohemagglutinins and lysozyme level in the blood serum. There was no correlation between destroyed allografts share and hemolysins titre of serum, so the double role of humoral antibodies in grafting immunity in carps can be assumed.

They are necessarily present in normal microflora of hydrobionts inhabiting fresh reservoirs. The greatest attention is paid by the researchers to Aeromonas and biotrophs in connection with epizootics in aquaculture which have become more frequent, in particular, under fish breeding. That is why the review is, to more extent, concerned in the works of this trend made by the foreign and home researchers for the last decade.

[Effect of Fusarium autolysate on various immunologic and biologic indices of the state of the carp body]. / Vplyv avtolizatu hryba rodu Fusarium na deiaki imunol'gichni ta biol'ohichni pokazhnyky stanu organizmu koropa.

The Fusarium autolysate has been studied for its effect on certain immunobiochemical, parasitological and fishery-biological characteristics of carp fingerlings in the experiment. It is shown that different methods of introduction and treatment of fish with the autolysate induce changes in titres of the compliment and the content of lysozyme in the blood serum of fish as well as growth of its body weight. Treatment of carp spawn before its incubation increases survivability of fish. It is shown advisable to apply the autolysate in food fishery.

[Experimental studies of the effect of Rhabdovirus infection on hematological, immunological and biochemical indicators in cold-blooded animals]. / Vliianie rabdovirusa na gematologicheskie, immunologicheskie i biokhimicheskie pokazateli kholodnokrovnykh zhivotnykh v éksperimente.

Bactericidal activity of blood serum (BABC), content of lysozyme, protein in it were recorded as well as formula and form of erythrocytes, activity of digestive enzymes by results of free amino acid accumulation in the food substrate were determined ten days after rhabdovirus injection to one-year-old carp. It is shown that if there are no clinical symptoms of viremia in carps, BABC, relative number of stab neutrophils and the value of eccentricity index in erythrocytes increase. Simultaneously stimulation of the activity of digestive enzymes and formation of free amino acids in chyme whose content is higher than that in the intact fish are observed in such fish. Free amino acids are discussed for expediency to be used as an additive to the folder for increasing resistivity of fish to infections.

[The dynamics of the immunologic indices of carp exposed to methylene blue]. / Dinamika immunologicheskikh pokazatelei u karpov pri vozdeistvii metilenovym sinim.

Several immunological and haematological indices as well as infection of carp with ectoparasites of the Dactylogyrus genus have been studied in fish that have been subjected to methylene blue treatment, to infection with Rhabdovirus carpio and Aeromonas hydrophila in different combinations. A dosage of 0.05 mg/l (exposure lasting for 3 days) over 20 days increases most of the immunological indices. A treatment of the carp with drug (dosage of 100 mg/l) for 4 hours has a stimulating effect on the immune system over a period of 40-60 days. The infection of the carp with virus immediately after the drug treatment (dosage 100 mg/l) gives rise to a disease of a certain part of fish. In connection with this a problem on terms of the methylene blue treatment is discussed taking into account the development of the disease.

The isohemagglutination test with the introduction of the heat-stable fraction of microbial broth culture into the reacting system was used as a model of the antigen-antibody interaction. In the "A-anti-A" system the inhibition of isohemagglutination in the presence of staphylococcal allergen was observed. This inhibition was caused by the binding of the allergen with anti-A-antibodies, which was indicative of the antigenic similarity between staphylococcus and group-specific factor A. The influence of the similarity thus established on immune response was studied by the determination of antitoxic titers in 292 donors immunized with staphylococcal toxoid and in 86 patients with chronic hematogenic fistulous osteomyelitis with due regard of the ABO phenotype of the examinees. Subjects with group A(II) blood were found to have lesser antibody titers than those with blood of other groups and to be predisposed to the progressive course of staphylococcus-induced diseases.
