RESUMO

Purpose of the study. To determine the influence of air temperature, atmospheric pressure, precipitation, fast weather changes on the number of emergency calls to patients with heart disease in the cities of Bishkek and Osh. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The data of calls to the ambulance station of the cities of Bishkek and Osh for a 20-year period (1998-2018) were analyzed by classes of diseases in accordance with the ICD 10th revision: A00-R99 - from all causes; I00-I99 - diseases of the circulatory system. More than 450 thousand ambulance calls were analyzed. To assess the meteorological indicators, the archived data of the site https://www.gismeteo.ru/diary/5327 were used. Correlation analysis was performed using the SPSS program. Results and conclusion. The data obtained indicate the presence of moderate and strong statistically significant relationships in the number of patients with cardiovascular diseases seeking medical care with periods of prolonged heat, days with a fast weather change, days with increased atmospheric pressure after the invasion of the cold air front and precipitation. The necessity of seasonal prophylaxis of meteopathic reactions taking into account weather changes is shown.

RESUMO

A comparative study of the effectiveness of the early rehabilitative treatment of post-stroke patients in a specialized hospital located in a medium-altitude mountainous area and in an outpatient clinic in the city of Bishkek (low altitude) was carried out. A more noticeable positive dynamics of the disturbed motor function and quality of life was documented in the patients treated in the mid-altitude in-patient hospital.

RESUMO

Patients treated in mid-altitude conditions for chronic bronchitis were exposed to EHF radiation. As shown by positive changes in external respiration, systemic and pulmonary hemodynamics, immune status, surface activity of lung surfactant, EHF therapy is effective in chronic bronchitis with ventilation disorders. The more severe these disorders were, the more marked the benefit was.

RESUMO

54 white rats were studied physically, histochemically and morphometrically for the effect of EHF electromagnetic field on repair of the lung surfactant system. The damage was inflicted by acute hypoxia existing at the altitude of 9000 m above the sea level simulated in the chamber. For the period studied natural repair was unable to secure the return to normal structure and function of the surfactant system, whereas daily 20-minute exposures to millimetric waves on the chest stimulated repair on after-exposure day 1-5 and provided normalization of all the physical and morphometric parameters.

RESUMO

The superficial activity and cytological composition of bronchoalveolar washes off (BAW) were investigated in 55 patients with bronchial asthma. As compared to the control group the patients with bronchial asthma in remission demonstrated a moderate decrease in the superficial BAW activity which grew in the phase of exacerbation, a degree of variations of the superficial BAW activity depending on the expression of exacerbation. Correlation between a decrease in the superficial BAW activity and changes in an endopulmonary cytogram was found. On the 25th day of the treatment of the patients with bronchial asthma at the Tuya-Ashu mountain pass (Tien Shan, 3200 m above the sea level) under the conditions of mountain climate superficially active BAW properties and edopulmonary cytogram got back to normal.

RESUMO

Physical methods were used in rat experiments to study the effect of acute pressure chamber hypoxia on the pulmonary surfactant in pulmonary extracts of different concentrations, bronchoalveolar washing and extract after washing. The surfactant activity in health and disease depended on the substrate and its concentration. The corrective coefficients for comparison of the surface activity of different substrates were calculated. Acute hypoxia induced a decrease in pulmonary surfactant activity. During deadaptation, the cellular surfactant first returns to normal followed by normalization of the extracellular surfactant.

RESUMO

A method for quantitation of pulmonary surfactant directly on histological preparations is proposed. The method is based on measurements of the intensity of fluorescence of the inner alveolar layer on cryostate sections stained with rhodamine 6G according to Hackney. The measurement is done with a microfluorimeter in microV, and is peculiar in that in each case a standard alveole with fluorescent inner layer of th surfactant and a small part of the surrounding tissue gets on the photocathode of the microfluorimeter. This is achieved by setting the microfluorimeter diaphragm on a certain value with control of the object examined on the planimetric ocular mesh. The results of application of the method in examinations of the lungs of fetuses, stillborns, newborns dying with pulmonary pathology as well as lungs of experimental rats have demonstrated a high positive correlation (+ 0.96) with measurements of the surface tension of endotracheobronchial washings obtained in examinations by the method of Clements.

RESUMO

An apparatus for determination of the state of the lung surfactant by measuring the stability of air bubles in a hanging drop by Pattle's method is described. Its construction permits multiple photographing of 5 hanging drops in identical areas at any intervals, thereby achieving standardization of the test (microscopy, photography) and shortening its performance. This device allows comparative study of surfactant in different parts of the lung which is particularly important in pathological conditions. It may be used for time-course microscopic examination and microphotography of other biological objects in hanging drops.
