[Classifications of methods for osteosynthesis in mandibular fractures and of the devices for its performance]. / Klassifikatsii sposobov osteosinteza pri perelomakh nizhnei cheliusti i ustroistv dlia ego osushchestvleniia.

The authors review the known classifications of methods and devices for direct and direct osteosynthesis for the treatment of mandibular fractures. They suggest a classification of their own, including all current osteosynthesis methods and auxiliary devices and instruments used in osteosynthesis.

[The diagnosis and prognosis of the degree of severity of odontogenic phlegmons using immunological study methods]. / Diagnostika i pronozirovanie stepeni tiazhesti odontogennykh flegmon s pomoshch'iu immunologicheskikh metodov issledovanii.

Analysis of some parameters of cell-mediated immunity (lymphocyte blastogenesis test--LBGT, T-rosette formation, B-rosette formation, leukocyte migration inhibition test--LMIT) in 106 patients with odontogenic phlegmons has lead the authors to a conclusion on the direct relationship between LBGT and LMIT depression and the disease severity. The detected relationship will be helpful in early diagnosis of grave forms of odontogenic phlegmons and conductive to timely start of immunocorrective therapy.

[The importance of the thermometric method for assessing the function of mucoperiosteal flaps in uranostaphyloplasty with/without transection of the neurovascular bundles in the rehabilitation of patients with congenital cleft palate]. / Znachenie teplometricheskogo metoda otsenki sostoianiia slizisto-nadkostnichnykh loskutov pri uranostafiloplastike s peresecheniem i bez peresecheniia sosudisto-nervnykh puchkov v reabilitatsii bol'nykh s vrozhdennymi nesrashcheniiami neba.

The nature and degree of reflow to the mucoperiosteal flaps was evaluated using a distant thermometry of the cleft palate in 67 children under uranostaphyloplasty and in early postsurgical period. In extracting the neurovascular bundles from their channels heat reflow to the palate was more fast and pronounced than with the bundles sectioned.

[A method for the simultaneous flow drainage of the deep cellular tissue spaces of the face in odontogenic phlegmons]. / Sposob odnovremennogo protochnogo drenirovaniia glubokikh kletchatochnykh prostranstv litsa pri odontogennykh flegmonakh.

A new technique is described for simultaneous flow draining of the deep spaces of maxillofacial region. The drainage is performed via external dissections in the temporal and submandibular areas and draining tubes conducted at the inner surface of mandibular branch. The scheme of the technique application is presented in the article with indication that it was successfully used and yielded positive results.
