[Development of collateral circulation in the Paget-Schroetter syndrome]. / Beitrag zur Entwicklung des Kollateralkreislaufes beim Paget-Schroetter-Syndrom.

An eleven years' clinical treatment of a 28-year-old tractor-driver with Paget-Schroetter's syndrome is described. The development of the collateral circulation was pursued during 6 years or 11 years, respectively, after the occurence of the vein thrombosis and the importance of phlebography in this rare disease is emphasized for the judgment of the prognosis. Phlebographic procedure is recommended for the reliable evaluation of the pathomorphological changes of the veins and of the developed collateral circulation.
