RESUMO
This paper is a retrospective epidemiological study of 152 burn patients hospitalized between 2006 and 2008. The patients were aged less than 20 years in 65% of cases. The sex ratio (m/f) was 1.18/1. A thermal origin was responsible in 84% of the cases. Flame was the cause in 56% of cases. The average burned body surface area was 28% and second-degree burns were the most frequent. In our study, the face and the neck were the body area most frequently involved. Prevention continues to be the best weapon to combat this problem, for which objective several measures are proposed.

La main est fréquemment exposée aux brûlures, ce qui entraîne des séquelles cutanées. A partir d'une série de 14 patients suivis dans notre service sur une année, nous avons essayé d'établir la simplicité, l'efficacité et le rôle de la greffe de peau totale dans le traitement de ces séquelles (les organes nobles ne sont pas mis à nu). La greffe de peau totale associée à une rééducation efficace permet aux patients de reprendre la mobilité des mains dans les brefs délais.
RESUMO
Angiosarcoma of the breast in an uncommon entity. The authors report a well documented case of angiosarcoma. The patient, a 23 years old woman, had a voluminous mass of the left breast without inflammation. The evolution was rapidly fatal. Physical examination revealed a large painful breast mass with purplish discoloration cutaneous area in front of the lesion. The palpation revealed a thrill. The mammography had shown an area of increased density in the left breast. A complementary ultrasound examination detected a well circumscribed voluminous mass with hypoechogenic heterogenous echostructure. The Doppler examination detected a venous blood flow in the tumor. This finding was compatible with vascular tumor as angioma or angiosarcoma. The angioscanner showed a peripheral vascular enhancement and a centripetal diffusion of the contrast product. This vascular kinetic is seen commontly in the angioma. Magnetic resonance imaging in the T1 and T2 relaxation times detected an intermediate signal mass with bleeding areas. The patient had had a mastectomy and the histopathologic examination confirmed the diagnostic of angiosarcoma. The radiological aspacts of angiosarcoma of the breast are discussed depending on the literature data.

The author report twenty one cases of tissue reconstruction defects secondary to necrotizing cellulitis of perineum and external genital organs, treated at the burns and plastic surgery unit of CHU Ibn Rochd of Casablanca, between 1992 and 1994. Depending on the extent of the defect, the techniques used were gracilis musculocutaneous flap in 8 cases, thigh fasciocutaneous flap in 7 cases, groin flap in 4 cases, simple skin sutures and skin grafts in one case, respectively. The morphological results were satisfactory. The mean hospital stay after reconstruction was 15 days.
