[Unilateral hematocolpos in utero-vaginal duplication associated with homolateral renal agenesis. Apropos of 2 clinical case reports]. / Hématocolpos unilatéral sur duplicité utéro-vaginale associé à une agénésie rénale homolatérale. A propos de deux observations cliniques.

This is a report of two Cases of unilateral hematocolpos with ipsilateral renal agenesis in a bicornuate uterus with unilateral imperforate vaginal. The Symptoms, operative findings and surgical procedure are described. It is exceptional in the neonatal period to find an Hydro-Hematocolpos associated with complex genitourinary malformations. Easy diagnosis of Hydro-Hematocolpos and its effect on upper urinary tract are made by ultrasonography and intravenous urography.

Infiltrating fibromatosis of the breast.

A case of fibromatosis of the breast in a 65-year-old woman is described. The difficulties in the histological and cytological differential diagnosis of fibromatosis in such an uncommon site are emphasized.

Closure of the lower third of the vagina using a TA 55 automatic suture forceps is an easy procedure which offers the best guarantee from a septic and haemostatic standpoint during the peroperative phase. We have used the technique on 50 occasions. In all cases, it gave a linear vaginal scar without granuloma. Used in association with sub-peritoneal suction drainage it brings about a reduction in the number of lymphoceles and their complications.
