[Production of rifamycin complex]. / Rifamisin kompleksinin üretimi.

In this study, by using synthetic medium and Streptomyces mediterranai rifamycin was produced by fermentation in laboratory scale. By means of spectrophotometric determination and microbiological assay, production of antibiotic by the organism was proved.

[Effect of chemotherapy on certain species of the Cohn Bacillus]. / Bazi Bacillus Chon türlerine degisik kemoterapötiklerin etkisi.

This study covers investigations on 15 strains of 7 species included in the genus Bacillus Cohn; by using discs which had absorbed the chemotherapeutic agents. In all, effects of 12 chemotherapeutic substances were followed. The results show that in addition to the normal determination methods it is possible to separate some of the varieties of these species with the help of this technique.
