La sarcoidosis con afectación del saco lagrimal es una enfermedad muy rara. Ante la patología del saco lagrimal es necesario tener en mente la posibilidad de tomar muestras histopatológicas, si se quiere demostrar la afectación del saco lagrimal por esta enfermedad. En pacientes con antecedentes de sarcoidosis el tratamiento es quirúrgico y se sugiere realizar una dacriocistorrinostomía por vía externa para obtener biopsias, lograr un diagnóstico y ayudar a establecer la incidencia de esta enfermedad.
