RESUMO
Trabajo efectuado sobre la modificación de un protocolo en el Hospital General de Catalunya que fue premiado en el Certamen Anual de Premios Científicos en la categoría de Enfermería. El objetivo de este estudio consiste en determinar si la ingesta precoz es bien tolerada sin aumentar significativamente la morbilidad gastrointestinal en pacientes intervenidas de cesárea. Se llevó a cabo un estudio prospectivo para valorar la tolerancia a la ingesta precoz en mujeres intervenidas de cesárea bajo anestesia regional (raquídea o peridural) [1-6]. El estudio concluye que no hay incremento significativo de efectos nocivos sobre la función normal intestinal, se disminuye el tiempo de inicio del peristaltismo y aumenta de forma subjetiva el bienestar de las pacientes en ingesta oral precoz poscesárea(AU)
This is a report on a modification of a protocol at the Catalonian General Hospital which received a prize in the Annual Scientific Prize Contest in the nursing category. The objective of this study consisted in determining whether or not precocious eating/digestion is well-tolerated without significantly increasing gastrointestinal morbidity by patients who have undergone a caesarian. The authors carried out a prospective study to evaluate precocious eating digestion tolerance in women who had a caesarian under local anesthesia, spinal or peridural (1-6). This study concluded that there is no significant increase in noxious effects on normal intestinal functioning, the initial time for peristalsis diminished and the wellbeing of patients who start precocious post-caesarian oral feeding increased in a subjective form(AU)
