RESUMO

π-Stacking, a type of noncovalent interactions involving aromatic residues, plays an important role in protein folding and function. In this work, an attempt has been made to measure CH/π and NH/π stacking interactions in a protein in Escherichia coli cells using a combined double-mutant cycle and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy method. The results show that the CH/π and NH/π stacking interactions are generally weaker in cells than those in the buffer. The transient intermolecular noncovalent interactions between the protein and the complex cellular environment may compete with and thus weaken the stacking interactions in the protein. The weakening of stacking interactions can enhance the local conformational opening of proteins in E. coli cells. This is evident from the faster rates of amide hydrogen/deuterium exchange observed in cells than in the buffer, for residues that undergo local conformational opening. This study highlights the influence of the cellular environment on π-stacking and the conformational dynamics of proteins.

INTRODUCTION: Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus (SCF), a traditional Chinese medicine, has been used in treating virtual injury and strain since ancient times. The Chinese Pharmacopoeia reveals that SCF includes raw (RSCF) and vinegar-processed (VSCF) decoction pieces. OBJECTIVE: This study developed an effective method combining the electronic eye (e-eye), electronic tongue (e-tongue), and chemometrics to discriminate RSCF and VSCF from the perspective of chemical composition, color, and taste. MATERIAL AND METHODS: First, RSCF were collected and processed into VSCF, and their color parameters, e-tongue sensory properties, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultra-HPLC (UPLC) characteristic fingerprints, and nominal ingredients were determined. Multivariate statistical analyses, including principal component, linear discriminant, similarity, and partial least squares discriminant analyses, were conducted. RESULTS: HPLC and UPLC fingerprints were established, demonstrating a > 0.900 similarity. The content determination indicated increased schisantherin A, schisantherin B, and schisandrin A contents in VSCF. The e-eye data demonstrated a > 1.5 total color difference before and after processing ΔE*ab, indicating the significantly changed sample color and appearance before and after processing. The e-tongue technology was used to quantitatively characterize the taste of RSCF and VSCF. The t-test revealed significantly reduced sourness, aftertaste-bitter, and aftertaste-astringent values of SCF after vinegar processing. Principal component and partial least squares discriminant analyses indicated that e-eye and e-tongue realize the rapid RSCF and VSCF identification. CONCLUSION: The proposed comprehensive strategy of electronic eye and electronic tongue combined with chemometrics demonstrated satisfactory results with high efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. This can be developed into a novel and accurate method for discriminating RSCF and VSCF.

This case report discusses medical adhesive-related skin injuries (MARSIs) caused by eye taping during an emergency open reduction internal fixation surgery under general anesthesia. The presented case involves a 72-year-old woman with a proximal humeral fracture, where 3M Transpore adhesive tape caused blisters on both eyelids. This tape is an acrylic-based medical adhesive and is commonly used to keep eyelids closed during general anesthesia. MARSIs can largely be prevented through evidence-based clinical guidance. Enhancing awareness of MARSIs among anesthesia providers and perianesthesia nurses is crucial to prevent and manage such injuries effectively.

This study aims to reveal the dynamics of the HPLC fingerprint, chromaticity values, and main chemical components of Mori Cortex during the stir-frying process. The fingerprints of raw and processed products of Mori Cortex were established. The content of mulberroside A, oxyresveratrol, kuwanon G, and kuwanon H in the samples and the chromaticity values of the samples were determined. Furthermore, the similarity evaluation of fingerprints and the correlation analysis between fingerprints and chromaticity values were carried out. The results showed that the fingerprints of raw and processed products of Mori Cortex had high similarity, and the overall changes in the content of the main chemical components in the stir-frying process were similar. According to the experience, when the stir-frying is moderate, the total chromaticity value difference |ΔE~*_(ab)| is above 1.5. With the extension of stir-frying time, the L~* and E~*_(ab) values keep decreasing, and the a~* value keeps increasing. The results of the correlation analysis between fingerprints and chromaticity values showed that peaks 1(5-hydroxy maltol), 2(mulberroside A), 3, 4, 6, 7, 11(oxyresveratrol), 14, 17(kuwanon G), and 18(kuwanon H) had significant correlations with the chromaticity values. Quantitative analysis of the four components with higher content showed that the content of the four components decreased to varying degrees when the stir-frying was excessive. In addition, 5-hydroxy maltol was produced after stir-frying of Mori Cortex, and the fingerprint and chromaticity values showed regular changes during the stir-frying process. The chromaticity can be included in the evaluation of the stir-frying process of Mori Cortex, which provides a reference for standardizing the quality of stir-fried Mori Cortex.

Protein allostery is commonly observed in vitro. But how protein allostery behaves in cells is unknown. In this work, a protein monomer-dimer equilibrium system was built with the allosteric effect on the binding characterized using NMR spectroscopy through mutations away from the dimer interface. A chemical shift linear fitting method was developed that enabled us to accurately determine the dissociation constant. A total of 28 allosteric mutations were prepared and grouped to negative allosteric, nonallosteric, and positive allosteric modulators. ∼ 50% of mutations displayed the allosteric-state changes when moving from a buffered solution into cells. For example, there were no positive allosteric modulators in the buffered solution but eight in cells. The change in protein allostery is correlated with the interactions between the protein and the cellular environment. These interactions presumably drive the surrounding macromolecules in cells to transiently bind to the monomer and dimer mutational sites and change the free energies of the two species differently which generate new allosteric effects. These surrounding macromolecules create a new protein allostery pathway that is only present in cells.

Background: Chronic Rhinosinusitis is a common disease in children. The main function of CFTR is to maintain the thickness of the mucous layer on the surface of the nasal mucosa. CFTR disease-causing variant can cause CFTR protein dysfunction and induce or aggravate chronic infection. However, the carrying status of the CFTR variants in the Chinese population is not clear. Objective: To study the frequency and variants of CFTR in Chinese children with CRS and to analyze the CFTR variants and the clinical characteristics and susceptibility to CRS. Methods: Whole Exome Sequencing was performed to analyze the CFTR genes in a total of 106 CRS children from the Chinese mainland area. The CFTR variants, frequency and clinical data were summarized and analyzed. Results: A total of 31 CFTR variants were detected, of which the carrying rate of 7 sites was significantly higher than that of the population database. 88 patients carried more than 2 variants. 37 people carried variants (MAF < 0.05), of which 91.89% had a history of recurrent upper respiratory infections, 16 had nasal polyps, 5 had bronchiectasis, and 1 was diagnosed with CF-related disorders. Conclusion: The carrying rate of CFTR variants in Chinese CRS children increased, and the highest rates of variants (MAF < 0.05) are p.I556V, p. E217G, c.1210-12[T]. Carrying multiple CFTR variants, especially p.E217G, p.I807 M, p.V920L and c.1210-12[T] may lead to increased susceptibility to CRS. There are CF-related disorders in patients with CRS.

Macrophages are found in a variety of tumors and play a critical role in shaping the tumor microenvironment, affecting tumor progression, metastasis, and drug resistance. However, the clinical relevance of marker genes associated with macrophage in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC) has yet to be documented. In this study, we initiated a thorough examination of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data for KIRC retrieved from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database and determined 244 macrophage marker genes (MMGs). Univariate analysis, LASSO regression, and multivariate regression analysis were performed to develop a five-gene prognostic signature in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database, which could divide KIRC patients into low-risk (L-R) and high-risk (H-R) groups. Then, a nomogram was constructed to predict the survival rate of KIRC patients at 1, 3, and 5 years, which was well assessed by receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC), calibration curve, and decision curve analyses (DCA). Functional enrichment analysis showed that immune-related pathways (such as immunoglobulin complex, immunoglobulin receptor binding, and cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction) were mainly enriched in the H-R group. Additionally, in comparison to the L-R cohort, patients belonging to the H-R cohort exhibited increased immune cell infiltration, elevated expression of immune checkpoint genes (ICGs), and a higher tumor immune dysfunction and exclusion (TIDE) score. This means that patients in the H-R group may be less sensitive to immunotherapy than those in the L-R group. Finally, IFI30 was validated to increase the ability of KIRC cells to proliferate, invade and migrate in vitro. In summary, our team has for the first time developed and validated a predictive model based on macrophage marker genes to accurately predict overall survival (OS), immune characteristics, and treatment benefit in KIRC patients.

To compare the urine Congo-red dot paper test (CRD) with dipstick urinalysis to screen preeclampsia (PE). A total of 409 paired spot urine samples were obtained prospectively from women with suspected pre-eclampsia attending for routine hospital visits. Congo-red dot paper test and dipstick urinalysis were examined and compared to screen pre-eclampsia. The agreement between the two urinary test is modest (kappa coefficient = 0.28, 95% CI 0.14-0.42). The specificity of CRD was higher than urinalysis (97.4% vs. 90.4%, p < .001). Urinalysis performed better in sensitivity (77.3% vs. 40.9%, p = .04) and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curves (AUC) (0.84 [95% CI 0.74-0.94] vs. 0.69 [95% CI 0.55-0.83], p = .04) than CRD, respectively. The sensitivity, specificity, AUC of the parallel test of them is 86.4% (64.0%-96.4%), 89.1% (85.5%-92.0%), and 0.88 (95% CI 0.79-0.96). And the serial test is 31.8% (14.7%-54.9%), 98.7% (96.8%-99.5%), 0.65 (95% CI 0.51-0.79), accordingly. The urinalysis is a better diagnosing test for preeclampsia. CRD could aid in the diagnosis of patients with preeclampsia. Combined the two tests in suspected patients may further improve the performance in the diagnosis of preeclampsia. Further study need to be made for its potential clinical practice.

DNA has emerged as an appealing material for information storage due to its great storage density and durability. Random reading and rewriting are essential tasks for practical large-scale data storage. However, they are currently difficult to implement simultaneously in a single DNA-based storage system, strongly limiting their practicability. Here, a "Cell Disk" storage system is presented, achieving high-density in vivo DNA data storage that enables both random reading and rewriting. In this system, each yeast cell is used as a chamber to store information, similar to a "disk block" but with the ability to self-replicate. Specifically, each genome of yeast cell has a customized CRISPR/Cas9-based "lock-and-key" module inserted, which allows selective retrieval, erasure, or rewriting of the targeted cell "block" from a pool of cells ("disk"). Additionally, a codec algorithm with lossless compression ability is developed to improve the information density of each cell "block". As a proof of concept, target-specific reading and rewriting of the compressed data from a mimic cell "disk" comprising up to 105 "blocks" are demonstrated and achieve high specificity and reliability. The "Cell Disk" system described here concurrently supports random reading and rewriting, and it should have great scalability for practical data storage use.

In the field of molecular simulation for drug design, traditional molecular mechanic force fields and quantum chemical theories have been instrumental but limited in terms of scalability and computational efficiency. To overcome these limitations, machine learning force fields (MLFFs) have emerged as a powerful tool capable of balancing accuracy with efficiency. MLFFs rely on the relationship between molecular structures and potential energy, bypassing the need for a preconceived notion of interaction representations. Their accuracy depends on the machine learning models used, and the quality and volume of training data sets. With recent advances in equivariant neural networks and high-quality datasets, MLFFs have significantly improved their performance. This review explores MLFFs, emphasizing their potential in drug design. It elucidates MLFF principles, provides development and validation guidelines, and highlights successful MLFF implementations. It also addresses potential challenges in developing and applying MLFFs. The review concludes by illuminating the path ahead for MLFFs, outlining the challenges to be overcome and the opportunities to be harnessed. This inspires researchers to embrace MLFFs in their investigations as a new tool to perform molecular simulations in drug design.

In traditional Chinese medicine, the two commodity forms of Cassiae Semen Raw and Prepared Cassiae Semen, exert different clinical applications, in which Prepared Cassiae Semen is commonly used to treat liver and eye diseases. However, the material basis of Raw and Prepared Cassiae Semen remains unclear due to the limited studies on their overall composition and metabolism in vivo. In this study, an integrated analysis strategy based on ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole-Orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry was established to systematically screen the prototype and metabolite constituents of Raw and Prepared Cassiae Semen. Automatic matching analysis of metabolites was performed on Compound Discoverer software based on the function of predicting metabolites. Using this strategy, a total of 77 compounds in Raw Cassiae Semen and 71 compounds in Prepared Cassiae Semen were identified. Furthermore, in vivo study, 46 prototype components and 104 metabolites from the Raw Cassiae Semen group and 41 prototype components and 87 metabolites from the Prepared Cassiae Semen group were unambiguously or preliminarily identified in mice (plasma, urine, feces, eye, and liver). This is the first study of chemical component analysis and in vivo metabolite profiling of Raw and Prepared Cassiae Semen.

OBJECTIVE: To explore if switching intravesical chemotherapeutic agents is beneficial in short-term recurrences of high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) following the failure of preceding intravesical therapy. MATERIALS AND METHODS: From June 2010 to October 2015, 205 patients with NMIBC who experienced tumor recurrence within a year after receiving first-line intravesical chemotherapy (IVC) were classified into two groups. After a second complete transurethral resection (TUR) process, we immediately altered the intravesical instillation agent for 107 patients (group A). In contrast, the remaining 98 patients (group B) continued using their original intravesical instillation agent. After transurethral resection of the bladder tumor (TURBT), all patients received either an immediate instillation of epirubicin (EPI), gemcitabine (GEM), or hydroxycamptothecin (HCPT), followed by regular induction and maintenance instillations. Recurrence and progression rates were evaluated using the Chi-square test, and recurrence-free survival (RFS) and progression-free survival (PFS) were calculated using the Kaplan-Meier method. RESULTS: In this study, there was no significant difference in either the 5-year tumor recurrence or progression rates between the two groups (p > 0.05) The Kaplan-Meier plot showed no difference in progression-free or recurrence-free survival between the two groups. CONCLUSION: Switching IVC agents does not improve RFS and PFS for patients with short-term recurrent high-risk NMIBC.

Seven undescribed tannins, namely gejaponin A-G, and one dehydrodigallic acid derivative 3,4-dihydroxy-5-(3,4,5-trihydroxy-1-ethoxycarbonyl phenoxy)benzoic acid, together with eighteen known polyphenols were isolated from the 95% ethanol extract of the aerial part of Geum japonicum Thunb. var. chinense F. Bolle. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of comprehensive analysis of UV, IR, NMR, HRMS, and CD spectroscopy experiments. To evaluate their bioactivities, sixteen major compounds were selected to intervene in hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-induced oxidative damage on H9c2 rat cardiomyoblasts. Some compounds demonstrated high activity in this assay, of which, the known compounds 16 and 21 exhibited strong protective effects against H2O2-induced injury in H9c2 rat cardiomyoblasts, with a comparable cardioprotective activity as that of the positive control trimetazidine, thereby revealing cardioprotective activities from G. japonicum var. chinense.

Telomerase allows eukaryotic cells to proliferate indefinitely, an important characteristic of tumor cells. Telomerase-related long no coding RNAs (TERLs) are involved in prognosis and drug sensitivity prediction; however, their association with bladder cancer (BLCA) is still unreported. The objective of this research is to determine a predictive prognostic TERL signature for OS and to provide an efficient treatment option for BLCA. The RNA sequence, clinical information, and mutational data of BLCA patients were acquired from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. With the help of the data from least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression and Cox regression, a prognostic signature was established including 14 TERLs, which could divide BLCA patients into low-risk (L-R) and high-risk (H-R) cohorts. The time-dependent receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve demonstrated the greater predictive power of the model. By combing the TERLs-based signature and clinical risk factors (age, sex, grade, and stage), a prognostic nomogram was constructed to forecast the survival rates of patients with BLCA at 1-, 3-, and 5-years, which was well matched by calibration plots C-index and Decision curve analysis (DCA). Furthermore, the L-R cohort showed higher tumor mutation burden (TMB) and lower tumor immune dysfunction and exclusion (TIDE) than the H-R cohort, as well as substantial variability in immune cell infiltration and immune function between the two cohorts was elucidated. As for external validation, LINC01711 and RAP2C-AS1 were identified as poor prognostic factors by survival analysis from the Kaplan-Meier Plotter database, which were validated in BLCA cell lines (EJ, 253J, T24, and 5637) and SV-HUC-1 cells as the control group using qRT-PCR. In addition, interference with the expression of RAP2C-AS1 suppresses the proliferation and migration of BLCA cells, and RAP2C-AS1 could affect the expression of CD274 and CTLA4, which could serve as prognostic markers and characterize the tumor microenvironment in BLCA. Overall, the model based on the 14-TERLs signature can efficiently predict the prognosis and drug treatment response in individuals with bladder cancer.

Pathogenic mutations in mitochondrial DNA cause severe and often lethal multi-system symptoms in primary mitochondrial defects. However, effective therapies for these defects are still lacking. Strategies such as employing mitochondrially targeted restriction enzymes or programmable nucleases to shift the ratio of heteroplasmic mutations and allotopic expression of mitochondrial protein-coding genes have limitations in treating mitochondrial homoplasmic mutations, especially in non-coding genes. Here, we conduct a proof of concept study applying a screened DdCBE pair to correct the homoplasmic m.A4300G mutation in induced pluripotent stem cells derived from a patient with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. We achieve efficient G4300A correction with limited off-target editing, and successfully restore mitochondrial function in corrected induced pluripotent stem cell clones. Our study demonstrates the feasibility of using DdCBE to treat primary mitochondrial defects caused by homoplasmic pathogenic mitochondrial DNA mutations.

Angong Niuhuang Pill (ANP) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula with significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of stroke. Due to its complex composition, little attention has been directed toward the analysis of chemical composition and absorption characteristics of ANP. In this study, a reliable two-dimensional ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (2D-UHPLC) coupled with quadrupole-Orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry (Q-Orbitrap HRMS) method was established to characterize the chemical constituents in ANP as well as the prototype components and metabolites absorbed in plasma, urine, feces, and brain tissues after oral administration. The prototype components were identified by a high mass accuracy (within 5 ppm) and MS/MS data based on online, local, and ANP self-built databases. The metabolites were predicted and identified using Compound Discoverer metabolic platform. A total of 154 compounds mainly including 37 flavonoids, 35 alkaioids, 19 organic acid, 19 bile acid, 32 terpenoids and 12 others were identified in this way. In addition, 60 prototype components mainly including flavonoids, alkaioids, organic acid, terpenoids and 164 metabolites were confirmed or preliminarily identified in rats. The metabolic pathways phase I reaction (hydration, reduction, oxidation, demethylation, and hydroxylation) and phase II reaction (acetylation, stearyl conjugation, and methylation) for the absorbed constituents were explored and summarized. This is the first systematic and comprehensive chemical characterization in ANP and its metabolism in vivo by 2D-UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap HRMS. This approach provides an effective strategy for the characterization of compounds and metabolites in traditional Chinese medicine formulas.

RESUMO

The capability to manipulate and analyze hard-wired metabolic pathways sets the pace at which we can engineer cellular metabolism. Here, we present a framework to extensively rewrite the central metabolic pathway for malonyl-CoA biosynthesis in yeast and readily assess malonyl-CoA output based on pathway-scale DNA reconstruction in combination with colorimetric screening (Pracs). We applied Pracs to generate and test millions of enzyme variants by introducing genetic mutations into the whole set of genes encoding the malonyl-CoA biosynthetic pathway and identified hundreds of beneficial enzyme mutants with increased malonyl-CoA output. Furthermore, the synthetic pathways reconstructed by randomly integrating these beneficial enzyme variants generated vast phenotypic diversity, with some displaying higher production of malonyl-CoA as well as other metabolites, such as carotenoids and betaxanthin, thus demonstrating the generic utility of Pracs to efficiently orchestrate central metabolism to optimize the production of different chemicals in various metabolic pathways. Pracs will be broadly useful to advance our ability to understand and engineer cellular metabolism.

Conformational dynamics is important for protein functions, many of which are performed in cells. How the intracellular environment may affect protein conformational dynamics is largely unknown. Here, loop conformational dynamics is studied for a model protein in Escherichia coli cells by using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The weak interactions between the protein and surrounding macromolecules in cells hinder the protein rotational diffusion, which extends the dynamic detection timescale up to microseconds by the NMR spin relaxation method. The loop picosecond to microsecond dynamics is confirmed by nanoparticle-assisted spin relaxation and residual dipolar coupling methods. The loop interactions with the intracellular environment are perturbed through point mutation of the loop sequence. For the sequence of the protein that interacts stronger with surrounding macromolecules, the loop becomes more rigid in cells. In contrast, the mutational effect on the loop dynamics in vitro is small. This study provides direct evidence that the intracellular environment can modify protein loop conformational dynamics through weak interactions.

OBJECTIVE: Omicron, a severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) variant, is responsible for numerous infections in China. This study investigates the association between the use of Seven-Flavor Herb Tea (SFHT) and the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection to develop precise and differentiated strategies for control of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). METHODS: This case-control study was conducted at shelter hospitals and quarantine hotels in China. A total of 5348 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 patients were enrolled between April 1 and May 31, 2022, while 2190 uninfected individuals served as healthy controls. Structured questionnaires were used to collect data on demographics, underlying diseases, vaccination status, and use of SFHT. Patients were propensity-score-matched using 1:1 nearest-neighbor matching of the logit of the propensity score. Subsequently, a conditional logistic regression model was used for data analysis. RESULTS: Overall, 7538 eligible subjects were recruited, with an average age of [45.54 ± 16.94] years. The age of COVID-19 patients was significantly higher than that of uninfected individuals ([48.25 ± 17.48] years vs [38.92 ± 13.41] years; t = 22.437, P < 0.001). A total of 2190 COVID-19 cases were matched with uninfected individuals at a 1:1 ratio. The use of SFHT (odds ratio = 0.753, 95% confidence interval: 0.692, 0.820) was associated with a lower risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection compared to untreated individuals. CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that taking SFHT reduces the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection. This is a useful study in the larger picture of COVID-19 management, but data from large-sample multi-center, randomized clinical trial are warranted to confirm the finding. In order to comprehensively evaluate the quality of Viticis Fructus, this study established HPLC fingerprints and evaluated the quality of 24 batches of Viticis Fructus samples from different species by similarity evaluation and multivariate statistical analysis(PCA, HCA, PLS-DA). On this basis, an HPLC method was established to compare the content differences of the main components, including casticin, agnuside, homoorientin, and p-hydroxybenzoic acid. The analysis was performed on the chromatographic column(Waters Symmetry C_(18)) with a gradient mobile phase of acetonitrile(A)-0.05% phosphoric acid solution(B) at the flow rate of 1 mL·min~(-1) and detection wavelength of 258 nm. The column temperature was 30 ℃ and the injection volume was 10 µL. The HPLC fingerprint of 24 batches of Viticis Fructus samples was established with 21 common peaks, and nine peaks were identified. Similarity analysis was carried out based on chromatographic data of 24 batches of chromatographic data of Viticis Fructus, and the results showed that except for DYMJ-16, the similarity of Vitex trifolia var. simplicifolia was ≥0.900, while that of V. trifolia was ≤0.864. In addition, the similarity analysis of two different species showed that the similarity of 16 batches of V. trifolia var. simplicifolia was 0.894-0.997 and that of the eight batches of V. trifolia was between 0.990 and 0.997. The results showed that the similarity of fingerprints of these two species was different, but the similarity between the same species was good. The results of the three multivariate statistical analyses were consistent, which could distinguish the two different species. The VIP analysis results of PLS-DA showed that casticin and agnuside contributed the most to the distinction. The content determination results showed that there was no significant difference in the content of homoorientin and p-hydroxybenzoic acid in Viticis Fructus from different species, but the content of casticin and agnuside was significantly different in different species(P<0.01). The content of casticin was higher in V. trifolia var. simplicifolia, while agnuside was higher in V. trifolia. The findings of this study show that there are differences in fingerprint similarity and component content of Viticis Fructus from different species, which can provide references for the in-depth study of the quality and clinical application of Viticis Fructus.
