RESUMO

Electrochromic devices built with ionogel electrolytes are seen as a pivotal step toward the future of quasi-solid electrochromic devices, due to their striking properties like exceptional safety and high ionic conductivity. Yet, the poor mechanical strength of electrolyte of these devices remains a constraint that hampers their advancement. As a resolution, this research explores the use of a robust, transparent ionogel electrolyte, which is designed using an in situ microphase separation strategy. The ionogels are highly transparent and robust and exhibit excellent physicochemical stability, including a wide electrochemical window and high temperature tolerance. Benefitting from these properties, a high-performance electrochromic device is fabricated through in situ polymerization with the ionogels, PPRODOT as the electrochromic layer, and PEDOT: PSS as the ion storage layer, achieving high transmittance contrast (43.1%), fast response (1/1.7 s), high coloring efficiency (1296.4 cm2 C-1), and excellent cycling endurance (>99.9% retention after 2000 cycles). In addition, using ITO-poly(ethylene terephthalate) as flexible substrates, a deformable electrochromic device displaying high stability is realized, highlighting the potential use in functional wearables.

RESUMO

In order to improve the detection sensitivity of 85Kr, an anti-cosmic HPGe γ spectrometer was established and a specific Marinelli beaker was designed for 85Kr measurement. Comparing to the non-anticoincidence γ spectrum, the integral background counts rate range from 20 to 2400 keV was reduced by a factor of 5.17 using anticoincidence shielding. The minimum detectable activity of 85Kr was 10.5 Bq within 24 h measurement in standard mode and that of 3.99 Bq in anticoincidence mode. The activity concentration of atmospheric 85Kr was preliminarily measured to be an average of 1.30 Bq/m3 in Beijing and corresponding minimum detectable concentration was 0.2 Bq/m3.

RESUMO

Adhesive materials have wide applications in diverse fields, but the development of a novel and multipurpose adhesive is a great challenge. This study demonstrates that conventional poly(ionic liquid)s (PILs) can be designed as highly efficient adhesives by simply introducing alkoxy moieties into the cationic backbone of PILs containing bis(trifluoromethanesulfonimide) (TFSI- ) anions. The incorporated flexible alkoxy chain not only reduces the glass transition temperature of PILs but also endows these materials with strong hydrogen bonding interactions, which, together with the unique electrostatic interaction of the PILs, simultaneously contributes to a high cohesive energy and interfacial adhesive energy. Consequently, these alkoxy PILs are highly adhesive on various substrates such as glass, ceramic, stainless steel, aluminum, and polymers, in contrast to the nonadhesive behavior of conventional PILs. Photosensitive or electronically conductive composite adhesives are fabricated by virtue of the compatibility between ionic liquids and carbon nanotubes or silver nanofibers. Interestingly, the PIL-2-TFSI adhesive possesses a unique and reversible response to electric fields and achieves up to 35% improvement in adhesive strength.

RESUMO

The half-lives of (88)Kr and (138)Xe have been determined with two high purity germanium (HPGe) detectors by the position relay method. Data have been recorded at regular time intervals during measurements covering more than nine times the respective half-lives. This article describes in detail the principle and process of the position relay method with two HPGe detectors. The determined half-lives of (88)Kr and (138)Xe are 2.804±0.015 h and 14.18±0.10 min, respectively.
