RESUMO

The divorce rate in China is rising yearly, and the concept of marriage is changing, triggering many social topics related to single parents. Among them, gender-awareness education for children in single-parent families is particularly worthy of attention, as there has been insufficient exploration of how parents transfer their gender role concepts to their children. This study conducted in-depth interviews with 58 single parents and children from 29 families in Suzhou and constructed the mechanism for intergenerational transmission of gender roles in single-parent families based on grounded theory. It found that single parents' gender stereotypes, the starting point of the intergenerational transmission mechanism, have been diluted. It affords them a more enlightened attitude towards child-rearing style, and they expect more equality in the gender role of their offspring. However, in some parents' actual parenting process, when the children's sexualization behaviours exceed their acceptance range, they will communicate with children in an authoritative and didactic way to "correct" the children's behaviour. In addition to direct verbal instruction, parents' expectations of their children's gender roles will be implicitly conveyed through various parent-child interactions in daily life to affect the formation of their children's gender roles. In the intergenerational transmission of gender roles, external people (such as grandparents, teachers and peer groups) have horizontal socialisation effects on children to modify or strengthen the results of gender education from their parents. Under the comprehensive influence of the above factors, the children's gender roles are finally determined. These studies expand previous theories and studies and have significant theoretical and practical implications.

RESUMO

In this study, four kinds of nanoparticles, graphite, WS2, Fe3O4, and TiN, were used as lubricating additives for steel/copper friction pairs to solve the problem of welding contact tube wear with non-copper-coated solid wire at high temperature. The single and composite nanoparticles have excellent dispersion stability in absolute ethanol under the action of the compound surfactant NaSTA + OA + PVP (i.e., sodium stearate, oleic acid, and polyvinylpyrrolidone). The tribological test results showed that the maximum decrement, with reference to the average coefficient of friction and wear volumes, were measured with nanoparticle concentration in 1:1:1 ratio at 300 °C. Compared with dry friction, the average friction coefficient and wear volume are reduced by 74.3% and 84.8%, respectively, which may be attributed to the formation of a stable tribo-film mainly composed of C-O, Fe2O3, WO3, TiO2, TiNxOy composite on the worn surface. Therefore, it is considered that the combined lubrication effects of the ball-bearing effect, repairing of worn surfaces, and the tribo-film resulted in the lowest friction and wear.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical features of fungal rhino-sinusitis. METHOD: Clinical data of 189 patients suffering from fungal rhino-sinusitis treated by functional endoscopic sinus surgery was analyzed retrospectively. The analyzed data included clinical type, age of onset, predilectionsite, reason, and surgical outcome. RESULT: Among the 189 patients with fungal rhino-sinusitis,181 cases were fungal ball,6 cases were allergic fungal rhino-sinusitis, 1 case was acute invasive fungnal rhino-sinusitis, 1 case was chronic invasive fungnal rhino-sinusitis. One hundred and twenty-eight cases were in the maxillary sinus (123 cases were unilateral, 5 cases were bilateral). Nineteen cases were in the ethmoid sinus. 31 cases were in the sphenoid sinus. Two cases were both in the maxillary sinus and ethmoid sinus, 1 case was both in the maxillary sinus and sphenoid sinus. Two cases invasive fungnal rhino-sinusitis had diabetes history. All the patients treated by functional endoscopic sinus surgery, 184 cases without recurrence, 5 cases suffered re-operation. CONCLUSION: The incidence of fungal rhinosinusitis is showing a rising trend, fungal ball is the highest. The sinusitis patients whom we highly doubt for fungal infection should be confirmed by using sinonasal secretion smear, cultivation and histopathological examination. Surgical treatment should completely remove the fungal masses, to avoid reoperation.
