[Clinical picture of Reye's syndrome in an adult]. / Quadro clinico di sindrome di Reye in un adulto.

The case of a young man of 20 who, after aspecific prodromic symptomatology of viral type, presented a clinical picture characterised by encephalitis and hepatitis classifiable in Reye's syndrome is reported. Bioenzymatic data and therapeutic outlook are discussed.

[Salmonella serotypes isolated at the Ospedale Maggiore at Novara during the years 1966-1973 in sporadic cases of enteropathy]. / Sierotipi di salmonella isolati presso l'Ospedale Maggiore di Novara negli anni 1966-1973 in casi sporadici di enteropatia

In 12.858 sporadic cases of enteric diseases examined from 1966 to 1973 at the Hospital Laboratory of Novara 380 strains of Salmonella were isolated. 19 different serotypes were identified. A large number of serotypes (SS. panama, agona, muenster, hato, manhattan, israel, anatum, stanleyville, coeln, sandiego, indiana, paratyphi A, urbana, vejle, thompson, goettingen) were encountered for the first time in this region.
