RESUMO
OBJECTIVE: To review the different aspects of epididymal tumors, with special reference to adenomatoid tumor of the epididymis (mesothelial neoplasm). Two such cases are reported herein. METHODS: Two cases of adenomatoid tumor of the epididymis are described. The clinical features, diagnosis and treatment are discussed, within the context of the algorithm recently presented by Pellicé and co-workers. RESULTS/CONCLUSION: Most of the epididymal tumors are benign and treatment using a scrotal approach will suffice. However, inguinotomy should be performed when the benign nature of the tumor cannot be established unequivocally.

Brief report on the case report of a young female diagnosed and treated (TUR) of a low grade transitional vesical tumour. The reason behind this paper is the early presentation of this tumoral species. Although this neoplasia used to be practically anecdotal, this is no longer the case. This fact prompted our concern and urged us to continue to investigate the reasons for vesical tumours having an increasingly higher incidence in our environment. In order to manage these neoplasias will shall merge data from ultrasonography with that obtained from urinary cytology. Cystoscopies shall be avoided as far as possible. References used to prepare this paper come from a brief review of the relevant Spanish urological literature. We believe this to be sufficient to prepare a "Clinical report" type original.

OBJECTIVES: The problems arising from tumors of the tunica vaginalis testis are reviewed and the differential diagnosis of this uncommon tumor type is discussed. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Five cases of benign tumor of the tunica vaginalis testis that had been incidentally discovered during hydrocelectomy are described. The patients were evaluated two and five years postoperatively, with no evidence of recurrence or presence of tumor at other sites of the serosa. RESULTS: The tumors did not compromise the gonad and were treated by simple excision of the hydrocele sac. CONCLUSIONS: The association of this condition with hydroceles is underscored. The true incidence of exposure to asbestos in the pathogenesis of this tumor type cannot be elucidated from the cases described herein or those in the literature.
